    Default Take your god damn

    HAT OFF!

first off, i want to apologise for the boos when the usa anthem was sung, i hate, i really fucking do. i am one patrotic mother fucker, but it realy does discut me when an anthem is played and boos are heard.

Now for "the truth" i backed mayweather all along, i said on here he does it in 10, 2nit, being a brit ofc everyone i know backed hatton, i told them all if ricky even makes the final bell and floyd wins i'll pay out...

Now any hater left take your hat off, because what you seen tonight was a great, no question. People have slated floyd for being boring, for fighting on the back foot. I have said all along, fighting on the back foot is the hardest thing to do in this sport, it is the most mastered art one can do.

Coming into this fight, with some of floyds lack luster proformences, i was tied who the p4p no1 was?

I hate the p4p system. It makes sense in theory, but i can not normally judge it turly. Coming into this fight, i was tied... Floyd without a doubt is he best "boxer" in the world, but being just a boxer doesn't make you p4p #1... after (yes the welsh boy talks about joe again) joes last fight he showed not just great skill, but great everything, i was tied to the point, maybe he has the right to be #1.

People asked me my opinion fo this fight, like i said, mayweather in 10. BUT floyd has never been truly taken to the trenches, he has never been invloved in a truly grity, ugly fight...

Whislt i have always backed mayweather, this is boxing, and anything can happen. One doubt played in the back of my mind (the reason why i thought Joe could contest his right at #1) can floyd pervail if he is taken to the trenches? never before have we seen mayweater really fucked and pushed to the limit, and while i do not consider hatton to be the fighter to apply the "educated preassure" he had the chance of taking mayweather to a place he had never been before...

Tonight we seen a true legend, there more impressive in this sport then a fighter who can do what floyd did on the back foot. He timed that winning punch better than any punch i have ever seen in boxing.

Hattton donhing he should of. He was all over him like white on rice, but at the end of the day, floyd was truly unbelieveable... he showed why he has never been dragged in the trenches, because he is so un fucking realy skilled.

I'm not saying he is the best ever, he still needs cotto and maybe some others. But what we all seen tonight was a truly amazing fighter winning in a turly amazing way.

TO all of you who slag floyd off for "running" and fighting off the back foot, you are sad, SC me all you want, but that was an alltime great fighting tonight.

Yes i would like to see floyd establish a jab and work with it, but floyd (and i hate the term, but i gotta use it) p4p is up there with anyone in the history of the sport.

Right now, he is head and shoulders above anyone in this sport, and he will not be anything else untill he retires.

    Here, here. CC to you.

I don't particularly like the guy, but as you say he is the best in boxing P4P by a street, maybe the best I've ever seen.

He is untouchable. Hatton is one of the best offensive fighters of his time and he didn't make a dent.

I missed this out... all the way through this fight it was a slagging match... people give floyd shit for being mouthy and a prick...

but how god damn humble was he after the fight? floyd aint nobody who bigs the other guy up to further him self...

he knew hatton faught his fucking heart out (and tonight ricky went up in my estermation) the mayweather post fight was the true floyd mayweather. He showed true class that comes with being the best in the world.

He could of easily been mouthy, "i told you all" bla bla shit shit. But he showed class like he never has before.

Few years ago i loved hatton, hated mayweather. Coming into this fight i was floyds fan, can not help but respect the disaplin of floyd and hate what hatton lets him self become post fight.

Both fighters reached new hights IMHO. Floyd showed unreal class during the fight , and after, Ricky showed superb heart during the fight, never stopped, give it everything. Little saddned by some of the pos fight hints, but it is boxing after all, and suffering a loss must be so, so painfull to take.

Both boxers done the sport proud tonight IMHO.

And don't forget hatton's speed and footwork. Mayweather beat the best, in his prime fighting the other guys fight. Hatton put the pressure on and was caught by a short left hook he didn't see. That's boxing.

yeh i agree with rob the booing was totally un called for bang out of order, kudos to floyd fought a great fight some of those punches were incredibile his slickness and speed unreiveled at welter like to see him fight cotto just to see if he put the knotch on his record i see that ud floyd. ricky was very humble even making a joke lol i think he will be back maybe antonio marg or witter maybe even del hoya, i would not like to see a rematch even if it was a different ref it would go the same way maybe ricky would last the distance but not win. good fight lads

For first and maybe the only time, but I give Rob his credit. He backed Mayweather from the start. Even though I bet he didn't want to.

That was Floyd best ring entrance by far, and he was very respectful of Hatton. Its too bad he doesn't act that way all the time. I really liked him tonight.
