Ok he lost....

But i woke up feeling proud to be British this morning.

The fans were amazing.....truly unbelievable

Wasn't keen on the booing of the american anthem but to us its just banter and there is no malice behind it....

That being said, British fans rule.

And congratulations to Mayweather.....he was absolutely awesome

you should be proud. You guys have one hell of a warrior in Ricky Hatton.

Like Hatton as a person dislike his fighting style. Hate the fans at the fight, they were disrespectful to my national anthem which is something you saw no american do to their national anthem (i also like their anthem).

UK boxing attracts the same fans as football. England fans pretty much boo every national anthem and it can be a bit embarrasing. You should see when we play Scotland, Germany or Argentina, its primal.

You should be proud, i felt the atmosphere at home and Hatton did not disgrace himself, he will comeback and beat the hell out of the Light Welterweight pretenders out there.

Ricky Hatton has nothing to be ashamed of he got in there and did what he always does he fought his ass off.

The booing of the National Anthem always seems to happen whether it's at a Hatton or Calzaghe fight or whatever....no one ever boos 'God Save The Queen' eventhough in my opinion it's a redundant silly song and what will you sing if you ever have a King? I won't ever boo it ......or Tom Jones for that matter, class act that guy!

If anything all the Mayweather fans should take a note from their favorite fighter and talk him up after the fight so Floyd can get the full amount of respect he deserves for fighting a great fight

The Brits always Boo national anthems now im british this does'nt impress me i watched the Haye Mormeck fight and was well impressed with the french not booing as David was in there back yard but we boo at home or away we show ourselves up doing this were an ignorant nation.
