Floyd's just a better and far more intelligent fighter, once he figured out Judah and Judah typically began to fade like he pretty much always does there was not much any trainer could have done.
Plus Zab's dad is underrated as a trainer, its easy to forget how important and effective his standing there screaming "bam bam bam" at Zab is.
Plus as great a fighter as he was do we really know that much about Pernell as a trainer. I would assume he would be a good trainer but you never know. Brock had him last time out and he still didn't look that good.
i dont think zab got worked out. it was more down to him fading
Zab could have had Pernell, Dundee, Futch and the outcome of that fight would have been the same. Zab will always be Zab and his mental game just aint there it's like his mind plays tricks on him.
If Judah had God himself as his corner man it wouldn't have made one bit of difference in the fight. Judah has a problem that no trainer can fix, and thats mental problem.
I think Judah's biggest problem is that he gets gun shy in the face of pressure which is the worst thing you can do. Against Mayweather though he was getting figured out, and he wouldn't have been able to do anything anyways.
There is absolutely no evidence yet that Pernell is actually a good trainer, so I don't see how it makes a difference.
i dont think it would make much of a difference. wasnt sweet pea like in the corner of ummmm who was it like calvin brock or someone recently who lost??
