How long does it generally take from first training session to first fight?

I know it varys on talent but just a rough idea.

I my gym the fastest was one year but I've heard of gyms who will put people in much faster. I have my first bout after 2 months of boxing traingin but I'd had some kickboxing experience and still I think i was not very well prepared.

It's really difficult to say because it depends on more than just your ability but how cautious your coach is and what the competition is like in your area.

After 12 weeks boxing training Winky Wright won his first golden gloves tournament.

However, traditionally it's aboyut 12 months.
