Thread: Williams Quintana Official

Heard it from a good source here in PR some days ago but now it is in another boxing site. If I am not mistaken it will be here in Puerto Rico.

What do you guys think?

Pretty brave of Williams.
I don't see Williams having too much trouble with Quintana.
Quintana might catch Williams early and I think this is his best bet. The further this fight goes, the more it will slip away from Quintana.

Quintana is a good fighter and he'll give Williams a tough fight. I'll be rooting for him for pure patriotical reasons but I don't think he can win that one.

Quintana laid an egg in that Cotto fight, I see Williams dominating this fight

I will be rooting for my countryman Quintana, who has pretty good boxing ability. But Williams is so darned active that I can't see how he can lose.

Not a bad choice for a first defense...Carlos is a tough durable opponent with credibility...I pick Williams to win but Quintana won't let it be a walk in the park

Williams is gonna destroy Quintana. I am not saying Quintana is a bad boxer, but
style wise he is not going to be able to get out of the way of the onslaught.
Quintana has a good jab, but that's not going to do him any good, when he is
so far behind on reach and punch output.

HAHA, Don't worry too much. Williams trains in Puerto Rico so he should'nt have too much trouble over here. He might even have some PR fans rooting for him. Quintana is not that populer on the easturn side of the island.

I have a feeling that Quintana is going to make this fight more interesting than you guys think which is only gonna make Cotto look better.

Quintana's a good boxer, i think he will give Willimas trouble. Williams by UD, but it won't be easy

CC to you!! I was going to say the same thing about Williams, who has been in Puerto Rico since his training for Margarito. It seems like Williams loves Puerto Rico (maybe its because of our beautiful women!) and he has also done a lot of community service. Also, the fact that Cotto destroyed Quintana doen't put him "off the radar." As you know, Cotto and William's styles are way different; thus, expect a different result. Williams puts pressure in terms of punch output, Cotto puts pressure in terms of pain.

Williams is going to slaughter Quintana.Bad styles match up for Carlos against a freak,a punching machine who can reach you even if you are on the other side of the ring. Williams stops Quintana in 10 for me.

Poor Carlos hes gonna get mopped up by Williams bad IMO.

The style that Williams has is all wrong for someone who's so defensive like Carlos.
