Kelly Pavlik reminds me so much of Trinidad in his heyday just bigger than Tito was at the time, same stlye, body type, punching power, etc.

Pavlik is nothing like Tito, there offense is completely different, and there fighting style is completely different. I don't see how you see them as similar if im honest bro.

Round of the year:Pac MAB 2? Dude,I know you're a Manny fanatic but in a year full of so many GREAT fights,to mention that fight for any type of award aside from maybe most dissappointing fight is nut hugger-ish.

I don't know how you cannot see the similiarities between Kelly and Tito, first off they are both sluggers and aggressors and if you cant see that you must need thick glasses. Second off they are both tall and slender (skinny) and its surprising that they both pack the punch that they do. Third off they both have a seek and destroy attitude, niether is worried about a tactical fight, only a KO. Fourth of all due to their similiar styles both can be hit and thrown off because of their aggression, we have seen Kelly hurt on a couple of occassions. I don't know what fights you are watching

Its not nuthugging as you put it. I just appreciate marco and pacs classic story. It was thanks to marco that gave pac the center stage for the world to see his greatness. Look at those rounds, marco lands huge but pac comes right back to decline marco's attempt on turning the table. You can make your own thread if you disagree, I love the other rounds out there but this is the one I will consider my round of the years. Simply becuase it is marco's last chance for revenge against pac but theres a different era now.

Yes so what if there both sluggers ?? if we are going by that logic then Jake Lamotta is similar to Pavlik just because he is a slugger, Tito/Pavlik are different in offense/defense.

Thomas Hearns is skinny and and can pack a punch but it doesn't mean he is similar to Pavlik or Tito. I went back and watched both fighters and i cannot see that they are anything alike, except of course for the obvious things like power and the same build other than that they are completely different.

I can understand what your saying but i meant in there fighting style, like there offense, combos they use, there defense etc. But i can understand where your coming from i didn't know you meant that way, i thought you was implying they had the same fighting style.

I can understand where your coming from but lets get real none of them rounds in that fight. Were nowhere close to being one of the most exciting rounds of the year.

Just read the title ice, it'll give you a clue.

As for me, well I was at the edge of my sit. Everytime mab would connect when pac gets wild. Pac comes right pac to put a quick end to anything going mabs way. That to me is exciting, those quick few explosive moments kept me lusting for the next surge of trading shots.

CC J. Rain, good, good stuff. I love the Pavlik highlights. That overhand right he hit Zertuchi with for the 1st knockdown was gorgeous. Whether you love or hate Pavlik, it's hard to deny his finishing ability. When he gets a guy hurt it is over; as once he knows it he zero's in with a ferocity and accuracy that is not to be denied. He's got alot of flaws, but finishing an opponent in devastating fashion isn't one of them IMO.

    +332 back bRo,

Yea Pavlik can hurt and drop guys with one big shot. Zertuchi is a tough tough fighter, and Pavlik literally put him to sleep. Miranda too was a tough big hitter fighter, but Pavlik came in and made everyone watch how good he is. Outgunning pantera and sending a loud thunder shock to the division. Then he sent an even louder statement to the whole boxing sport by knocking out J. Taylor after taking Taylors best shot and at Taylors best condition and performance in years.
