Hughes was dominated and this time on the ground. GSP out wrestled him and submitted him in round 2 with an arm bar which hughes verbally submitted to!

Hughes only beat GSP the first time because GSP was mentally beat GSP would always beat him otherwise
Yup it was great to see him get owned.
My favourite bit was on the end of the first round when the bell rang, watching Hughes' stupid red face as he staggered to his feet.
a rare showing of class by hughes though, as afterwords he said that gsp is just a better fighter than he is.
True passing of the torch. Hughes will go down as one of the best WW's of all time but GSP has an opportunity to re-write the definition of great as we know it. I'd really like to see him in against BJ if he decides to come back to 170

What a flawless performance from GSP. He completely dominated Hughes from start to awesome finish. The kimura to straight arm bar transition was a thing of beauty but personally I would have liked to see GSP render Hughes completely unconscious through strike or choke. But hey, I'm not complaining, he owned Hughes.
The chain of events that I hope happen from this are, first, a rematch with GSP vs Serra where GSP avenges his loss by KO then, somewhere down the line, a grudge match between Hughes and Serra takes place where Serra retires Hughes for good with a devastating KO or submission. Let's see what happens...
Take care and belated Happy New Year!
Best Regards,
Lito

GSP is the man. Can't wait till he gets a rematch against that screamer Serra.
Ok, Hughes passed the torch to GSP.... Now can somone get Roegan's head out of Hughes' butt? LOL
