Default Karmazin-Most feared in super WW

Lets be finished with Spinx, Forrest and all Super WW imposters in 08. Father Time is his biggest enemy now. Step up to the plate, Give him a shot better yet he earned a shot with that Spinx hometown stickup last year. Roman will dominate this division in 08. See you in HELL. PUNKS. Forrest, Spinx, and whoever else.

Spinks gave Karmazin a boxing lesson before, and he'll do it again.

154 is a 2 man race between Forrest and Spinks, and if Forrest looks half as bad as he did the last time I saw him, Spinks would give him the boxing lesson of a lifetime en route to a 12 round UD.

The question would be here what's the last fight you saw of Forrest.
Cause he fought well agains Michell in his last time out.

I think Karmazins a good fighter and as shitty as 154 is right now it's pretty much wide open. Fro Karmazins just missing something not sure what. I think this TKO win over 'Terra' was a big confident booster for him. I think it's what he needed.

He also on the undercard of RJJ vs. Tito he'll be fighting Bunema.

Alex Bunema? Wasn't he washed up like 3 years ago when he fought Jermain Taylor? And for the record, Mayorga whips all their asses, Karmazin included. Be a good fight though.

I agree with Hulk, Mayorga is the best junior-middle right now. Forrest looked good against Baldomir but Baldo was made for him. Spinks is very overrated IMO, zab destroyed him. I'd like to seee ODLH fight some of these guys, it would be very interesting, but De La Hoya only wants megafights right now

How many times have I told you to stop checking Boxrec and watch the fights for yourself? Spinks won by a point or two AT BEST,in HIS backyard and DIDN'T want a rematch. If it were a 15 rounder,Karmazin would have beaten him,he was coming on strong.

I don't think Karmazin is the man at 154 but he can be.He's dam awkward to fight, strong and intelligent. He's good in every area.I'd take him over everyone at 154 except slick, big, strong southpaws like Santos and Mrtinez, whom he has admitted he has trouble with. I think he dismantles Forrest, who is being SEVERLY overrated for wins over two very very old slow fighters,Baldo and Picirillo.

    A boxing lesson

Have you even see the fight ?? it was a very close fight with a lot of hard rounds to score, i had it a draw Karmazin was the constant aggressor and was having good success. Actually watch the fight and then tell me with a straight face that Spinks gave Karmazin a boxing lesson.

I won't say Spinks gave Karmazin a boxing lesson it was a tough fight...one I accredit more to Spinks thinking it was going to be a walk in the park then Karmazin...Though Roman is a very good fighter...I pick him over Forrest...But at the end of the day...an in shape Corey Spinks is better then the whole lot...

Note- I said an in shape motivated Spinks because he has the habit of overlooking guys and thinking he will just go in and make an easy night of boxing out of it

The dark horse at 154 is Daniel Santos. If Santos can dedicate himself to the sport for two-three years, he can unify the belts at that weight IMO (or at least he can be in some very good fights).

Santos doesn't apply himself, if he did he wouldn't do much IMO though. His style would suit quite a few of today's 154lbs fighters.
But your right: he would be in some very good fights.

Mayorga is where its at folks. He will beat any current fighter at 154. His boxing skills have improved, he's still got good power, and stamina and he's hungry. Happy New Year! First post of the new year is about Mayorga. Thats how it should be.

Was wondering how long it would take for you to catch that one ....

I would love to see Mayorga/Forrest again...Something about Forrest just annoys me...would be nice to see him beat to the canvas again
