Ok Guys/Girls its time to let your opinion be known on what could be one of the best fights of 2008. The 1st fight was an awesome fight with Marquez getting floored 3 times and then coming back to win majority of the rounds.

Pac Fans Will Argue = Pacquiao has improved since the last meeting, and he will overwhelm Marquez. No way will Marquez survive this time Pacquiao will be looking to finish Marquez and make a statement, the reason why he didn't look impressive in his last few fights is because they haven't been against good opponents and he couldn't get himself up for the fights, plus its hard to look good against Barrera who was on the move constantly and went there not to be KO. Plus what are Marquez fans on about didn't he KO Morales in 3 rounds ??

Marquez Fans Will Argue = Marquez has Pacquiao's number with his counter punching style, he will finish what he did the 1st time without getting floored multiple times, Plus Pacquiao's improvements have not shown in his last few fights except against a badly shot Morales. If Pacquiao fights the same way as he did against Barrera he will lose a clear cut UD. Plus Marquez will not get lured into a brawl like Morales does what the hell are Pacquiao fans on about ??

I don't know man. JMM likes to go toe to toe now a days. And that would make him more vunerable to get himself in trouble. I just don't see this fight reaching 12 rounds. Not unless JMM avoids Pac's big punches like MAB did.

If Marquez can fight like he did last time then he hammers the Pac who fought Barrera last time out. Its not as simple as that though.

A tricky fight. Hopefully, Marquez doesnt age overnight and we get a good fight.

I think Manny will win this one. He needs a fight like this to truelly pick him up. JMM and MP are the best in their weight class and they know this. They have potential to have a full out war but i think MP has improved a lot since that fight and he knows if he loses this its all over. Same for JMM. But that power and fast hands i think will really put him on the back foot. But the combinations of JMM are unreal. Its going to be a war I know that but i just believe manny can do it and he will do.

Yep, if JMM engages,... night night time for him.

Morales wasn't the best boxer and he kept Pac of him in their first fight, Marquez will do the same. He's to smart to engage.

Pacquiao via points(although heart says JMM and I'll totally be rootingfor him)

Like i said in the other thread Marquez will know what he is up against this time. He will be cautious in the early going learning from his mistake, then when he gets his rhythm going he will start to pick off Pacquiao as he is coming in. I expect Pacquiao to take the early rounds but round about the 3rd or 4th round, it will be all Marquez as he boxes a superb fight and wins most of the rounds en route to a UD.

I don't know about this fight. Marquez is more aggressive now partly because I think Golden Boy is pushing him to be more "exciting" to appeal to the Mexican community. The thing that worries me about Marquez is that he could have easily counter-punched Barrera and fought a much smarter fight like he usually does and EASILY cruised to a decision but he wanted to go life and death with Barrera to prove that he's not just a counter puncher. If JMM goes back to the way he used to box effectively and counterpunch, he wins a close decision. If he comes with that same macho style that he used against Barrera, he's getting KTFO.
