fair play to Berto....i think amir kahn (or warren?) wants to have a look over at how Berto has progressed with opposition and follow the example to be honest. I have been very impressed every time i have seen Berto and expect him to pull this one off aswell....he has all the tools to be a great fighter, admittidly he has some floors but everyone does at his age...if he can iron them out we could be looking at a major future force here.

Seems a decent opponent for Berto. Trabant has never been stopped as far as im aware and has a good record even if it is mainly against bums. He has beaten Klose tho who is a decent fighter. Berto could make a statement by KO'ing Trabant early.

Definitely a good opponent with experience, which is what Berto needs. He should gradually build up his resume until someone in the top ten in the division will agree to fight him.

Well you know I somewhat see what people are talking about when they speak of Khans opposition and I'm 50/50 because although his opposition can be better I think they are just building up his career/confidence as much as possible. Now whether that's a good thing or bad thing or if it's working out is whole 'nother story. The kids exciting no doubt and hes skilled he's showed it time and time again.

I remember around the time in 2005 people were butchering Cottos quality of opposition and saying he needed to step it up and fight the big names. At that time Corley, Maussa & N'Dou were top 10 in the Light Welter div. he fought 3 of the top 10 and people still bitched about it. In the top was Tszyu, PBF just dipped his feet in and it's not like Cotto could have fought him then, JLC was just making his move into 140 the only other names there were Witter, Harris & Gatti.

Anyway! my point being that even if Khans opposition continues to get better people will always critique it and say it can be better.
