Thread: Vernon Forrest being mean in an interview!

Wow,usually when I see Vernon interviews,he's kind of calm,laid back but this one..just read it:

So Vernon is gonna KILL Mayorga? End his Career huh? Lets fucking see it. My money is on Mayorga by KO too. Since if they fight Forrest will be tryin to knock out Mayorga, and in doing so will fall into the same trap he did the very first time they fought all those years ago.

I'd give forrest a decent chance in there against the top guys out there right now. It cracked me up how he starts off saying good things about everyone he mentioned but then ends every statement with.....but i'd whoop his little ass too.

I think Forrest has every reason to be pissed off, we are going to get PBF V DLH 2 this year and really DLH should be fighting Forrest and PBF should be fighting Cotto. Forrest will beat Mayorga next time for sure then he should give Ike Quartey a rematch that he deserves. Forrest is in no man's land at the moment and you can tell in this interview how frustrated he is, he shouldn't have lost to Mayorga twice and he wouldn't have this problem!

Forrest is making himself look like a joke in that interview...especially since it is not the real Forrest and everyone knows it...he is putting up an act....

Lets straighten something out for Verrnon a minute--

Cory Spinks--Beat the man who put you on your ass right afterr he beat you twice!!!!...Was shorted against the MW champion...Has managed to be on top on the 154lb division for quite sometime now


Mayorga-- Has called out Forrest several times...Stated several times in the press conferences leading up to the Vargas fight he was willing to sign a contract then and there...Called Forrest his SON...and stated he will spank him agains if Forrest is willing to sign the contract again...

DLH- Don't worry about what the hell Oscar does...His resume makes Forrest resume pitiful...Fact is and I am not a DLH fan but WTF has Forrest done to even garner himself worthy of stepping in and getting the payday nof a DLH opponent?

Forrest was given a gift against Quartey, Beating Baldo at 154 is nothing to be proud of...shit Baldo had no power and was slower then Tye Fields at 147..WTF beating him at 154 is supposed to impress someone?...

The Piccirillo was a good win but he is 37 and long past his glory days,,,His last real win was over Cory Spinks in 2002!!! since then he has fought crabs and bums....

Forrest is no hot commodety and no one to be calling anyone out...Mayorga has called you out again and again...Sign the F****** contract I know Ricardo will!!!....Nothing stopping Forrest from getting his revenge but Forrest

Spinks could not even beat Karmazin by a wide decision, hell I think he lost that fight.
And Cory NEVER beat Mayorga, FAR from it, he lost nearly every single round.
And to be fair Mayorga has not knocked anyone out since he burst onto the scene KO'n Vernon the first time. So I don't think he'd actually KO Forrest, but maybe. I see him knockin him down a couple times, embarassing him and generally making him his bitch though.

Riiiiight,so he didn't look good v Baldo Dude,your posts recently.... Re-watch that fight again,Forrest looked good v Baldo. I agree that Spinks would probably beat Vernon but it wouldn't be easy. Vernon's jab and right hand would make him dangerous throughout.

He didnt look good against Baldo. There's no question he won the fight and dictated the pace and etc but he was far from impressive imo.
