To be honest i don't think much of Andrade except he has a chin of granite, and i don't think much of Bika either except he is tough. Both fighters have got poor defense, both fighters are tough, both fighters are very limited. But style wise this should be a war i'll take Andrade by TKO late. I think he has the edge in the chin and power department and that will be the key in a slug fest like this. And although Bika does have slightly better skills he rarely uses them, and is easily lured into a brawl.

As for Mares vs Diodado i'll take Mares by decision, this is a good test for Mares, Diodado is a good experienced fighter. But i think Mares is an outstanding prospect and one of the best out at there at the moment. He has great counter punching skills, and the way he throws his punches is masterful to watch. There like lazer beams there that sharp, he puts his punches together very well, his work rate is pretty good, pretty much the whole package Diodado will have his moments but he will be outclassed by Mares.

So the 168 weight class heats up even more. This fight has some serious potential to be an outstanding fight. This is one fight which is going to sort out the top 10, maybe top 8 at 168. Im happy its happening and look forward to more fights like this. Froch-Inkin as well is going to be a cracker.

This fight is happening on the Manny pac- JMM undercard, the same night as Froch-Inkin.

I don't think either of these guys will be around at the top very long, if you could even consider them top guys now.. And this fight certainly isn't going to help them.. It should be an extremely fan friendly war, but these guys will likely just brutalize each other. I don't know what Andrade's jaw is made of, but it has to have been dented a little by now. How he hasn't been KO'ed by Kessler or MAck I don't know, he is so open to huge bombs its insane.. Bika isn't a KO puncher and neither is Andrade, both guys are just rugged maulers, I expect a wicked amount of punishment to be dealt out on both sides. Not sure what I make of Andrade's power actually, maybe he'll hurt Bika early and get him out of there. Can't see Bika stopping him though.

i like bika but his not getting any younger, andrade is a beast. reminds me of forrest griffin from the ufc, his the forrest griffin of boxing imo. I can't see bika winning this one.

i like gabi but i'll give it to mares.
