I dont want taking credit off to Gomez , but for me; this would be much better with Cintron , for prepare to fight with Williams or Margarito and then a Big fight with Mayweather. This fight going to be a Beating, I dont know Why Top Rank decide this fight?

Well Cotto hashad some very hard fights lately, he deserves at least one warm up fight, he can never be accused of taking easy opposition.

YEA , you are correct and i understand that , but i think that he can warm up with other fighter that can prepare for the next opponent , Righ?

Cotto has never beat a legitimate Champion for any of his titles(WERE VACATED WHEN HE CLAIMED THEM) nor has he beat a young star fighter in his prime... All the current title holders at Welterweight have with the exception of Cotto himself

Well my friend , if they dont give him a chance for do that , we cant say that he cant , because for me he have all the skill and tools for whom want fight him.....Look what happen now , Top Rank going put to fight with him to Gomez , you see that isnt his fault , but overall for me he is the most stroghest welterweight righ now, he can BEAT everyone in that weight...

Im still sticking with gomez giving Cotto more problems than anyone is giving him credit for, with cotto overpowering him in the end.

I give Gomez a better chance than most.Whether you think he will win or not remember Gomez was in the contender series fighting off middleweight's and giving them problems.Again I like Gomez I will be cheering for him.I just can't cheer for Cotto who style's his eyebrows.It just reminds me of a pretty boy and no not Floyd.

I am just happy to see Cotto back in the ring after being disappointed by Mayweather (first I am not thinking about welterweights, now I am thinking about de la Hoya). I guess Cintron would have been a better option, but the fight with Gomez is definitely leading to a showdown with Margarito, a much tougher fight for Cotto than one against Cintron.

Gomez is'nt going to be easy.

Ok , tell me you with argument ,What skill that Gomez have to be a difficult fighter for Cotto , because Cotto beat in that weight ,and jr.ww an opponents with the high skill and he proved it , so tell me arguments....

I want add something else, for me; Cotto have to decide to separate of Arum Promotions , that why ODH and FLOYD M. they separate , because he like to get an easy fights and Small Purse. Cotto have to take the decision to ask that he want to unify the titles of each champs to show all fan that he is the best , and evoid that lot of people saying that he isnt the best.

Gomez is a challenge for any one at 147 -154 . He has good defense and can throw. I dont see this as being a push over at all.

Here we go.




I guess it's time for everybody to start rating Gomez as a top contender at 147 just because he's fighting Cotto.


Please everybody.............. Let's not all start over-rating Gomez, now.

If Gomez makes it to the 3rd round it will be a miracle! I suspect Cotto is planning on fighting again 12 weeks after this fight and won't want to extend himself to much, this fight will be over quickly.
