So its Povetkin vs Klitschko how you do see this fight going ??

Klitscko by KO. He's too big, too stong, and too experienced for Povetkin.
I see it going the same way.Originally Posted by CFH

Klitschko by mid round stoppage
Povetkins got a struggle on his hands here . If he can get through the early rounds I give him a chance aslong as he isnt too badly beaten up . All Wvlad has to do is use his height and reach without taking any chances and business should take care of itself but I havent forgotten how fragile he was vs the likes of Peter , Purity , Brewster and Sanders and Povetkin is probably better tha all of those guys .
Damn can Wlad get past Ibra first, I know we all are going to bet on Wlad come Feb 23 but damn considering that Douglas beat Tyson we should not just skip this fight, Ibra may beat him ( I doubt it). Haven't we learned our lesson about fighters fighting the biggest fight of their career with such little expierence (David Reid), Wlad will own this guy
Povetkin might give a Wlad a little trouble with his pressure, but I think Wlad's power will be too much. Those straight rights that Chambers was landing, when they are coming from Wlad, are going to leave more than a mouse under his eye.
I was impressed by Alex's determination and heart. I kept waiting for him to fade. I thought he was going to pass out in the freakin corner he looked so gassed, but he pressed for 12 full rounds. I can't remember the last time I saw that kind of workrate from a heavyweight.
I'm actually looking forward to this fight, I really think Povetkin has the style to cause Wlad some problems.
There's a huge size and power difference and that may well overwhelm Povetkin early but if he's still there in the second half of the fight it could be difficult territory for Wlad.
We know he has a history of stamina problems and Povetkin is like Ricky Hatton without the holding. It's possible that if he can take Wlad's power that he could outwork him down the stretch and maybe even stop him in the late rounds.
I know it's a long shot and far more likely that Wlad gets him out inside 6 or 7 rounds but I think Povetkin has shown that he is deserving of the shot, and has a style that may trouble Wlad.
Wlad hasn't had a tough night since the Sam Peter fight so who knows how his stamina is.
I'll say Wlad Ko 7 but I think Povetkin could possibly cause a suprise and maybe a huge upset.
Both Wlad and Povetkin like to pressure the other guy this will work in Wlad's favor especially when Povetkin is easy to hit.Povetkin will feel the power early and this will make him back peddle and or cover up more than he planned hence he can't fight his fight. With a combination of skill, power, height and reach Wlad should have Povetkin out of there somewhere from the sixth to eighth round at the latest.

wlad by ko/tko
.....did you see Chambers swell that eye up He's 6 inches shorter and 20 pounds lighter and has a far lighter KO percentage than Wladimir Klitschko.
It is going to be BRUTAL....it's going to be the kind of KO you watch through your fingers because it's going to be gruesome
I've seen every Pro fight of Povetkins and the only concern is that this fight might be too soon. Povetkin applies pressure and Wlad ain't used to that.
Povetkin by mid rounds KO. Gonna be some china shattered in Germany.
That's a pretty good point. I see Sultan as a bigger threat to Wlad than Povetkin, though I'm pretty sure he'll beat them both.Originally Posted by The Bookkeeper

Don't be delusional Rob
with only 15 pro fights to his name, it's a lot to ask for a guy to go and beat the "best" guy at said weight...
but with that said, Wlad has beaten no one of class or talent since he was sparked out... beating nobodys and looking good is no way to judge someone. This topic should be up after the IBE/WBo unification
