Thread: does anyone believe dariusz would have beaten roy jones?

just wondering

Not at all Dariusz's style was made for Roy Jones he would of beaten Dariusz and badly as well. Dariusz was struggling with the likes of Richard Hall a guy Roy Jones toyed with, and Dariusz lost to Gonzalez another guy Jones dropped x2 and toyed with, Dariusz just wern't on Jones level.

He actually dropped Gonzalez three times, twice early, once later on. I think Dariusz just like Benn, Eubanks, etc. are made as excuses of why Jones shouldn't be great when in fact he is the greatest fighter of the last 20 years.

Dariusz was a good fighter but he wasn't special enough to beat RJJ....neither was Ottke, neither was Benn, neither was Eubanks

....oh and to my Brit buddies....I'm not trying to say Benn and Eubanks weren't special fighters, I just doubt they would have beaten RJJ

I just evened out your cc/sc ratio Good question. I think he would have given jones problems for a round or two, then he would be outboxed to a Jones decision maybe even a late stoppage.
