Default Is Floyd gonna fight before he fights Oscar?

I cant see why he wouldn't fight cause hes not fighting Oscar till September. Then again if he doesn't want to fight Cotto, Williams, or Margarito hed look like a p@ssy to a lot of people if he fought anyone else between now and September. I think it would make sense for him to fight around May like Oscar is.

Last time I checked Cotto, Williams, and Margarito are already signed to fight other people, and if Cotto and Margarito win their next fights they'll be fighting each other. Mayweather is taking a much deserved break before he starts training for the 2nd biggest fight of his career. Keep in mind that his last fight was THE biggest of his career.

I'm not sure how anybody could think that makes him a pussy, unless he decided to fight somebody like Alfonso Gomez or Golden Johnson.

haha point well taken lol. Dont get me wrong if he wants a break he should take a break, as mentioned he has earned one. I just think staying busy is good for a fighter like him who relies on timing and reflexes as much as he does.

I totally agree and think that when and if Mayweather loses his first fight (obviously it will be a big one) it will be because he takes too much time off before a major fight. I just hope that he beats Delahoya and then fights Cotto no later than 6 months afterwards.

I read that the winners of the Cotto/Williams, Cintron/Margarito fights will fight at Yankee Stadium in July. This sounds awesome, but is there realistic possibility of this? I know BHop talked about fighting there, but that didn't work. Anyone know?

He felt that the 24/7 episodes tired him out, so he wants a break.

Cotto isn't fighting Paul Williams, he's fighting Alfonso Gomez.

    BIG difference

But I don't think that Yankee stadium is too far out of the question considering Cotto's support in NY, but Madison Square Garden seems a bit more likely, imo.

Did OSCAR just sign with Floyd Sr. to train him..........for 3 fights including against Jr. This is very odd. Train a fighter against your son.

The only reason Oscar is being trained by floyd sr. is just to build up more hype to fight that alot of people don't even want to see. I hate pretty boy but he deserves a rest and it's at a point now where very few even want to see him taking tune up fights if he not fighting a big name no one really want to see that crap.

I think your right on that hes only working with Mayweather Sr. to make it more interesting. At this point in Oscars career it doesnt really matter if its Roach who trains him or Floyd Sr.
