Default Calzaghe: "See me tame big-mouthed Bernard Hopkins."

Joe Cool looks pretty darn confident in this video. He and Hopkins are going back and fouth debating who's got the better resume. Joe blasts him for fighting smaller guys like Trinidad and Taylor.

    Some other quotes:

"He talks a big one, but dogs that bark, they don't bite."

"He's no Mayweather and I'm no Ricky Hatton!"

    Here's the video I found:

CALZAGHE: "YOU'RE GOING TO SEE ME TAME BIG-MOUTHED BERNARD HOPKINS!"

Good stuff...I can't wait for this fight.

Alright they JAZ!Some good footage of Calzaghe drawing up some good banter on the run up to the fight with the Executioner Hopkins.I enjoyed it mate,...GOOD STUFF!I think it'll be a great fight,i mean just the prospect of them actually stepping in the same ring is a great thought.Mind you it's about time and on that note it's a real shame not to have the bout approximetly 5 years ago when Calzaghe first appointed them to both go toe to toe but for whatever reason it never materialized(I quote lack of MONEY).What do you reckon about the extra 7lb on Calzaghe,I mean he'll be totally comfortable carrying the extra weight but what about the speed and the duration of his punch power, will it be a factor??

Calzaghe is being far to mouthy , he should let his fists do his talking , hes setting himself for a fall. ( i hope )

the money is going on bernard hopkins he has faced superior opposition in my opinion , has fought on the big stage against big names. i dont think joe has ever been in a ring with such a legend , we have heard it all before the british public get on the band wagon as they did with hatton, im british but im more of a fan of a boxer then the country they are from , and for me hopkins deserves more respect for the opposition he has fought and his amazing career.

I think Joe will put on a display in this one. Might shock a few at how good he is. Again.

B-hop would be his toughest opponent. I'll be rooting for Calzaghe anyway (sorry Roach). But IMO, Joecal is a little nervous about this fight. I can tell that from the way he sound, with all the trash talks.

If Joe does lose he will have lost to the better man. Much better would be the case, if he can't beat an aging Hopkins up then the haters could have a point . However nothing will change the fact he became the undisputed S/Middle weight champ of the world being trained by his father in a shed down in a small Welsh Valley. Now thats a real Rocky story!

Wink Re: Calzaghe: "See me tame big-mouthed Bernard Hopkins."

    no one will really win.

If jc wins - he's beat up on an old man past his best, if he loses jc is overated and lost to an old man.
If hopkins wins, jc was never that good, if hopkins loses, he's past his best.

nice to see that JC is essentially looking to beat up an old man. Will look nice on his record. Shame you didn't have the balls to fight him earlier.
