Seanie I know your passionate about stuff, and I should put out that I'm not a Hopkins fan and I don't think he'll win, but calling someone who has achieved what Hopkins as 'a bum' is wrong and shows a lack of knowledge for what you're talking about, so you're getting some bad rep from me.

Maybe if Joe had grown a pair a couple of years back we wouldn't be thinking Hopkins is past his best and maybe Calzaghe can beat him.

if hopkins is a bum that means calzaghe is fighting yet another bum ?

i do agree on one of the things you said though, i feel he should of stayed retired after the tarver fight

the taylor decisions were two close fights that could of gone either way, ( i felt hopkins won the second fight). the fat welterweights you were talking about i'm guessing is tito and de la hoya, i'm sure at the time they couldn't make 147 anymore so them being natural welters is wrong.

I don't see how Taylor is pitty patty or how you can say how bad he was or is. Calzaghe does not strike me as a Thomas Hearns either when it comes to punching power, but he has proved that punching power does not matter.

I think Taylor fought his heart out in his last two fights and lost them, but gave a good account of himself in both. Does that make him a bum also?

I think Hopkins will lose to Joe, but I also think he will give a good account of himself even though his best days are behind him. He is very smart and what he lacks in youth, he will make up in experience.
