Thats not at all, he said that he really would like a rematch with Cotto........and he know that has to fight hard like toe to toe. The question is , Does he really want a rematch with Cotto ?

Williams does have the tools to beat Quintana lets see if he uses them in a rematch.

With as much as he gained after the weigh-in I wonder if Williams really outgrew 147 and is killing himself to get down there. He may be even more beatable in a rematch.

You may be right there i have said he needs to move up to 154 along time ago. A match up i would love to see at 154 is Forrest vs Williams.

Paul Williams looked too human in the fight with Williams, whereas he was Superman against Margarito. I doubt Quintana hits anywhere near as hard, so why was Williams' punch output so much lower? I'm telling you- Williams is done at 147, but he's trying to stay there because the paychecks are much bigger than at 154 unless you can get a dance with Oscar de La Hoya. Let's face it- The Golden Boy is never going to fight Williams no matter how many straps he has. A 154 pound Paul Williams puts Oscar down for a 10 count for the second time in his career. But a 147 pound Williams gets a back-to-back loss.

I agree liquid , at the time it going be more hard for Williams to stay in WW Div. , but you are correct is by paychecks , he going do everything at his reach for stay in WW for catch a Big Purse , if he lose with Quintana in the rematch , i think he has to move up to other courses.....

I think its because styles make fights and no one PW had fought actually tried to use defense against his punches so the output would drop because he wasnt landing on the target half the time.

I agree with Liquid, something wasn't quite right about Williams from the opening bell. I think Quintana's movement had alot to do with it but even then,Williams was fatigued/slowing down late on which is uncharacteristic of him.It could be the weight. I'm not that excited by a rematch for some reason..
