    Default Mayorga

I just read an interview with Lou Di Bella where he says jermain Taylor has a short list of 2 possible opponents 1 is Trinidad and the other is Ricardo Mayorga!!!

Here we go again back down to welter opponents

I like Mayorga and would love to see him take some serious bouts, i dont think hed win this, Taylor is a big strong middle weight, mayorga fights aggressive and maybe he would make Taylor go on the back foot like the other welters did (Spinks and Ouma)

Id rather see Ricardo take a tune up at light middle then maybe get a title shot at welter or light middle, hes giving away too much size past light middle, he will always be competetive but not for long

Hes too much fun to watch to just keep using him as a sacrifice

If Taylor wants to stay at super middle and needs an opponent, he should go for Miranda, at least Taylor didnt get stopped in his last fight, all he needs is someone whos easy to hit

For Taylor's next fight, I think he has earned the right to fight anyone he wants to.

Then he can get tossed in with the wolves again.

As we know from Taylor though as he seems to fight at the level of his competition, so the fights against Mayorga or Trinidad will not be one sided affairs.

I hope Taylor fights Tito or someone other than Mayorga. Ricardo Mayorga is NOT a MW, he's barely a Junior MW. Thats bout where he belongs, and could beat either Forrest or Spinks again.

Taylor's size, talent, skill, jab, etc. would be too much for El Matador IMO. And I love Mayorga. He's my absolute favorite fighter on the planet.

i agree wit hulk, i love mayorga hes just an exciting fighter, and we all kno hes got a good chin, if anyone wants to disagree go fight him...lol

but even he said that he couldnt take the punches in his last fight with fernado, he said in the post fight that the at this weight class the shots he took was too hard..

hopefully taylor fights trinidad even tho i doubt trinidad has a chance, and i hope mayorga fights a decent guy but can actually win...lol i cant bare too see him lose again,

dami just read he might fight cottoo......lol omfg not good newss for mayorga except for a payday

Cotto would be a MUCH better fight for El matador than Taylor. Against Cotto I would give Mayorga a GOOD PUNCHER'S CHANCE. In other words if he connected on Cotto's chin, then exploded on him with one of his flurries he does, he might be able to put young Cotto away.

I doubt he could even hurt Taylor seriously, might buzz him, but not put him in trouble.

He also has the stones to fight anyone no matter how big and King knows this...add that to the fact a Mayorga fight is always filled with fun if not for the action but for Ricardo being a clown and his comments are priceless...

During a press conference one time before the Vargas fight....Vargas is up there talking and was kind of sentimental about this being his last fight...and right in the middle Marorga walks in the middle of it say...

"It's OK, It's OK, You can stop crying and worring Fernando Your Daddy is here, and don't be sad about not making money when your retire I will still be fighting and I can give you an allowence"

Vargas was so mad he got tounge tied

He is good fun but I want to see a serious effort to be something special again, he dont have to of course but it would be nice to see

I give him a good chance against Cotto too

Make a fight between Judah and Mayorga as a warm up for Mayorga Then let him fight Cotto

I think in the near future, a year or so down the road if both are still fighting, Mayorga and Judah will meet up. Unfortunately, aside from the win over Vargas which was awesome!!! Both fighters have been playing the same role the last couple years : Big Name Opponent for the stars.

wow judah, and mayorga i would be very happy because they are like my favorite fighters.

i am a big fan of both fighters, the thing is judah is in his last straw as a top welterweight, HE HAS TO WIN AGAINST SHANE MOSLEY or at least show some good a** effort to show hes got his mind straight flloyd sr better do his dam job.

after the vegas fight ilove mayorga he showed that he can box, and he has alot more patients then usual, he took his time and and looked like he had fun.

goof fight but i say judah loses becuase of the pressure mayorga brings....judah melts down
