Punch Power: 817 | | Mijares/ Munoz signed Just read that Christian Mijares has signed to fight Alexander Munoz!!!
This should be a great fight.
Mijares said he wanted to fight Montiel but they couldn't get it done. Said he'd like to fight Montiel after Munoz. Thats the way to establish yourself as the best in the division, fight the best. But I think he should concentrate on Munoz 1st.
A tough fight for me to call, slightly favoring Mijares at this point, but Munoz will be in it the whole way!

Any way a great match-up here!!! 2 of the best in the division with talk of the winner to face Montiel.
I'm favoring Mijares but only slightly... Munoz can fight & with his power he has an edge |

Punch Power: 2009 | | Re: Mijares/ Munoz signed +69 I'm always delighted to see a fight with Mijares in it and even more glad to see that he wants plenty big fights!
I think that Mijares can be undisputed.
I know at this early stage that is a big call and beating Munoz and Montiel would be huge feats, but Mijares is continuosly developing and progressing as a fighter and I actually feel he can do it.

Interesting cause about a week ago I'd heard that Munoz/Arce was being made but didn't post it cause didn't have a concrete source. This is even better. |

Punch Power: 2788 | | Re: Mijares/ Munoz signed Mijares will beat Munoz easier then what people think.
Munoz is the type of fighter that tries to impose himself onto his opponents.
He will fail miserably trying this on Mijares.
Mijares will use his ability to outbox Munoz.
I'm wanna see Montiel-Mijares.
It'll be a reminder of the great throw back fights between Roman-Laciar or Roman-Rojas....

You really think Mijares beats Munoz easy Mick?
I dunno! I remember Castillo/ Munoz 2 that was a great fight & Munoz was unlucky not to get the nod there. I don't think Mijares has been in with anyone as good as Munoz! I'm not saying Mijares will lose but I feel it will be a close exciting battle!!! |

If only Mijares' handlers got balls to answer Donaire's challenge. | |
