Cool Zab Judah could beat Shane imo

I don't know why,I just have a feeling Zab will do well v Shane. I think against guys that keep coming,Zab gasses(Baldo,Cotto and Floyd even came straight down the pipe) but Shane is not that kind of fighter:he's more stationary, doesn't move back or forward too much. This will give Zab a chance in this fight imo. I also think he has new coaches(still has Yoel but Floyd Senior has been adeed too) who are working on his stamina, which is a plus. I'm not 100% he'll win but I think it's going to be a close fight. I also think Shane lost a step v Miguel in terms of speed.

“Winning championships today . . . yeah it’s great saying you’re champion. But looking at the reality, having a belt is whatever. Making the best fights, the biggest fights, and making the most money is important to me today. If I want a belt, I can go home. I have every belt in my home. Championships. Title belts, I have them at home. So as far as me winning more belts, I’m not concerned about that. But what I want to do is leave a great legacy. To have adversity, and be able to come back from that and still be the greatest pound-for-pound fighter that there is today.”

I don't think Zab will likely pull it out but I see where you are coming from 100%. Judah's stamina fails with all guys regardless of there movement, which Mosley does better than you think. Zab will whip ANY fighter in the world for up to 6 rounds and thats when he goes south for the winter. Juda would need to take the first 4-6 rounds and then preserve energy in the following two. Then pick it up again and rest in the 9-11 for energy in the 12.
If he can get Mosley to get that lost hope look he gets when fights don't go his way then he "could" win. I personally give him a 30% shot at winning and I'll know for sure after 4 rounds.

The only way Zab wins is if the Cotto fight took so much out of Shane that he's lost it totally. It's happened before. You don't know it's happened until they get in the ring, but you can see it right away (Toney/Peter 2 for example).

Still, I'm taking by Mosley, KO 9 or 10. I'll sig bet or rep bet anybody on this one.

Cotto battered Zudah and he must have taken what was left of him. He is now a fighter people go through to get to the bigger names.

Well I train at the same gym as Zab,Top Rank gym in Las Vegas and he was getting killed by Wes Furguson friday. So hopefully he is working out some kinks because he is one of my favorite fighters.

I hope he does well. I know most people hate him but I think he deserves a little respect for that showing against Cotto, at least for his heart that nobody thought he had. He is still one of the most talented boxers of the era, if only he had the mental strength to go with it he'd be almost unbeatable.
That said, this is a toss up fight for me. Mosely still looked good against Cotto but I think Zab did too and he managed to hurt Cotto more than Shane did. Zab seems to do better against boxers rather than the 'seek and destroy' style of a Miguel Cotto.

Zab really could have been one of the greats he is very talented but met a true great in Tzsyu. He still could have achieved a better status that he has now, but does it bode well that he is getting beat up in sparring or is that normal?

Gamo, I think once Mosley realizes Zab can't hurt him, he will turn up the pressure a la rounds 9-12 against Cotto. I say Mosley can KO Zab as opposed to the other way around.

Honestly Zab has the talent to beat just about anyone. But Zab's father trains him like a father would train a son and now how a trainer would train a fighter. All he does is get Zab in shape and count on Zab's natural talent to get him the win.

IF Zab does indeed get Floyd Mayweather Sr as his trainer I think he could beat Shane. The way Zab tries in his fights and didnt crumble and run the way people said he would against Cotto, he gutted it out to the end. I think it shows Zab does have the determination and want to be the best in his division but I think he has the wrong trainer. His father can only keep him at this level and Zab can do really well at the level he is at, but if he wants to be great he has to go to the next level.

I think Judah's got a good shot at winning! I think it's a really even match-up. If both guys perform at their best we could be in for a special fight.

I have given up on Zab EL-G, I used to back him even after he lost always saying...'This fight as long as he keeps it together"....Believing Zab could win even against Floyd if he could keep his head together through out but he always proved me wrong...Now IMO even if he does keep his head together he has lost enough of the skills he once had

tell mr. judah to freakin get his mind straight in order for him to win.

he messed up his career bad and he could of have made millions.

if he didnt screw with mayweather he probably wouldnt of lost to baldomir, or even fight mayweather himself.

fortunately when he won his titles hestill has alot of loyal fans that love him so therefore hes still going to make millions for a couple of years (if he gets ko by shane its gg)

Judah could beat a lot of people. That's always been the case, he could have beat pretty much everyone he's stepped in the ring with outside of Mayweather and you'll find some who will even argue that.

I will nitpick a little though. I don't think Judah gets worn down physically. He gets worn down mentally. By no means did Baldomir beat the will out of Judah, he just stuck around. If you stick around with Judah then chances are Zab is going to lose his focus. It's a mental thing not a physical thing so I don't think the particular style of Mosley matters in that regard.

I think we're going to see a typical Zab Judah fight. Flashes of positive work through 6 rounds, but failure to be persistent will do him in again. I think Mosley takes a decision.
