Default Fights you would've loved to see, but never happenned

    1. Foreman vs. Tyson: Tyson at his peak, but possessing the perfect style for a Foreman upset. Would this have looked like Foreman-Frazier? Intriguing.

    2. Hagler-Hearns II: Could he outbox him?

    3. Jones vs Tyson: Well, he talked about it enough. Perhaps Jones at his peak against a somewhat over the hill Tyson would've been interesting.

    4. Chavez vs. McGirt: Buddy had the boxer-puncher skills to make a dangerous matchup, which is probably why it never happened. He probably would've been the smartest fighter Chavez ever fought, except for Whitaker. Wouldn't mind seeing Azumah Nelson or Simon Brown given a shot either. Chavez had so many potential great opponents, didn't fight or defeat enough of them, IMHO.

    5. Foreman vs. Shavers: 2 hardest punchers ever. 'nuff said.

    6. Frazier vs. Norton: Why not?

    7. Whitaker vs. Taylor: In their prime. Defense vs. Speed. Whitaker never fought anyone significantly faster. Could he adjust?

    8. SRL vs. Pryor: 2 greats.

    9. Chavez vs. Whitaker II: Probably Whitaker would've won (yeah, i know) again, but the 2 best fighters of their generation should ve fought more than once.

10 Tooney vs. Tiberi: b/c he deserved one.

Puzzling list you have my friend, Taylor Vs Whitaker fighting would like you be fighting one of your family members, Tyson Vs Foreman WTF, Tyson VS Jones LOL, Mcgirt was not in the same league as Chavez, Whitaker dominated both but Chavez alway's had a punchers chance against Whitaker, Mcgirt was just brutally beaten. The other fights on the list were decent, here's my list

Trinidad Vs De La Hoya 2- I am sick of talking about what happened, it needed to happen and it did not, both fighters sound like politicians when talking about the rematch

    Toney Vs Hopkins

Tyson Vs Holyfield ( In 1990)

    Lewis Vs Bowe

    Mayweather Vs Cotto

    Trinidad Vs Quartey

    Holmes Vs Foremann

    Vargas Vs Reid

    Well, allow me to explain:

Taylor/Whitaker: no one beat whitaker in is prime. But taylor had the spead. and they did have different styles. taylor fought aggressively, flat-footed even at times, and didn't go backwards much. speed is difficult to beat and i think that's the only thing, not power, that could've confused whitaker.

tyson/foreman: forman never went down during his 2nd coming. he was only outboxed, but that wasn't tyson's style. big george gave holyfield a hell of a fight but styles make fights. tyson reminds me of frazier, and he really couldn't fight going backwards

tyson/jones: yeah, probably ridiculous. but jones in his prime was like nothing boxing has ever seen. he needed a challenge.

chavez/mcgirt: mcgirt had a bum shoulder by the time he fought whitaker, and still gave him a decent match, at least the first time. he was such a smart fighter (remember the simon brown fight) and chavez, for all his greatness, needed the competition.

Makes sense that Sanchez should have to go through Eusebio Pedroza first, before moving up in weight to chase Arguello, given that Pedroza was WBA champ the entire time that Sanchez was WBC champ, and then some. If there was ever a unification bout that should have happened but didn't, that was it.

    Whitaker-Norris

Someone mentioned Quartey-Trinidad a few posts up. That would have been a great fight too.
