Default Pac got a gift decision

He lost that fight in my opinion. He knew it too. You could see it in his eyes. No arrogance showed in the post fight interview. He was humbled. The fight was close but it was not one of those fights that one can say it could go either way.

I was hoping Pac would knock Marquez out too. but when he did not do it by the 7th, it was clear that Marquez kept accumulating the rounds to overcome the Knock down.

AND I am out some cash, since I bet Pac would win by KO

Pac was connecting more solid shots. He was the aggresive and got 2 of the judges vote.

If anyone can get the scorecards, I would appreciate it.

I hear ya Pac you sound like I did back when my boy Chavez lost to Whitaker. I said the exact same thing.

it is not a shame to lose. He did not do enough to win. He got tired for some reason I think. He was not the same relentless Pac. Maybe he trained a bit too hard.

who knows... but it is clear he did not win that fight.

by the way I was going for Pac too. He is one of my top three favorite fighters of the moment. I just know he lost that one that's all.

I don't think so somehow, Marquez landed more power punches and he rocked Pacquiao many times more times than Pacquiao was able to rock Marquez, Pacquiao was even doubled over by a body shot from Marquez. I had Marquez clearly winning the fight and if there was any doubt in the scoring then Marquez should of erased those doubts clearly winning last 2 rounds.

Pac rocked JMM many times too. And it's very unfortunate for Marquez fan like you that your boy kissed the canvas. Marquez landed a lot of low blows. He was not very accurate with his uppercuts.

same here. Did you notice that Pac tired? I watched the last six rounds of the fight again and it seems like he did.

He was not his normal self. Marquez boxed beautifully.

Pac got tired coz he took some massive body shots. I gotta give that to Marquez.

uggh...for some reason, I liked the old forum quoting the best...but no matter back to fight talk.

if memory serves Marquez was more accurate in his final punch stats, Manny just did not do enough to win. He was good in spurts while JMM was more consistent. He won the fight.

The key in the fight was the exact key in the 1st fight for Marquez, creating angles, leading with right hands, and timing Pacquiao coming in then countering. I can't remember exactly what round it was but i remember he doubled Pacquiao over with a body shot and that seemed to zap Pacquiao's strength. I'll give Pacquiao's his dues though its hard to recover from a devastating body shot like that.

Fukc that Manny easily won... I am not saying it wasn't a close fight, but the rounds that each guy won were so distinctively for that fighter that it would be impossible to score it otherwise, except the last two rounds.. I thought Pacquaio won the 11th but it could have gone for MArquez(however I need to say it again), THe 12th was definitely won by Marquez.

What I don't get is why Manny didn't continue doing his double jab left cross.. He was setting the distance with the jabs for the left hand, but then he stopped doing it.

Pac was very fortunate to get the decision. A cracking fight but a decision gone astray.
