Alright they Richard.I heard about that as well.Khan has had disrespect from Rees lately somewhere along the line in the sport of boxing. It would be a good domestic bout and it could well happen as well with Amir heading for the welterweight division. To be honest Khan would run rings around Rees i think! Now having Kevin Mitchell Vs Amir Khan bout somewhere in the future would be a great domestic battle between to young hard fighters that have bad blood in between them would be fantastic.I've always wanted to see them two battle it out.WELCOME on logging onto this AWSOME site anyhow mate.Big REP!

Personally, I'm not convinced Rees can make it past Kotelnik to give Khan the chance to earn his first world title.

Fact is, M'baye totally underestimated Rees and failed to put in enough effort to beat the little man from the valleys. I just don't see Kotelnik making the same mistake.

And even if Rees gets past Kotelnik, why would Warren want to push Khan into it too early, which will likely take him two or three steps closer to getting beaten by one of the really good light-welterweights on the world stage.

At this stage, Khan needs patience not being pushed too far too soon. And anyway, I'm sure Rees would also like a few defences of his title before going up against Frankie's golden boy.

I agree, Rees won't likely get past Kotelnick tomorrow.

Khan will blast Rees out in a couple of rounds but I'd still like to watch it.

I didn't see this before the Kotelnik fight.

This is a fight which would make Kahn look very impressive.

I think Kahn would beat Kotelnik quite easily anyway.

Gavin Rees is a fighter from the long list of Warren - craphats who are no were near world class , and are exposed when they meet Real championship fighters. He seems like an ok guy but who the hell cares he plain sucks.
Remember reality is an illusion caused by a lack of alcohol .

I find it very amusing that both Katsidis and Kotelnik pissed on Franks fire, two easy world title wins for Amir both fallen flat
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Rees would be a good opponent for Khan in the summer. Though Rees is small, he should be able to take what Khan can dish and make it interesting.

Well, wasn't it frank who said there'd be one more warm-up before the world title fight, Rees might make sense as the opponent, and would put another former world-champion (cough) on Khan's record.
