Default What did you guys think of Bruce?

So it was Bruce Buffer who took over from half brother Michael on Saturday.

I'm suprised the UFC let him do it, I guess they think its good exposure for him and thus them.

I thought he did a good job, I've always liked his voice, he sounds old school like he's from the 50's or something.

It's a completely fake voice of course as anyone who saw him at the very beginning of the UFC days will know.

Still I liked him, don't mind listening to him for a few months.

I'm disappointed they didn't choose the Contender guy though, it would have been tremendous to have had that fat dullard bastardise every major fight for the rest of this year with his failed reality audition level talents.

I've heard Bruce officiate in boxing before. Was there a reason given why Michael Buffer wasn't there? Bruce is aight--once you've had the real Buff everything else pales.

By the way, anyone other than me think Peter North looks like Michael Buffer?

Michael is having throat surgery. I think he'll be out for the rest of the year so Bruce will probably be the full time replacement for the rest of 08 I guess.
