Default Time to rip on me now

I am no reporter,or writer I just like boxing talk, but I have been chatting with Tim Witherspoon in the gym lately.I was wondering if anyone wanted me to ask him something.

When in condition he was a fabulous fighter, he gave Holmes hell, technically excellent boxer with a good jab. Got used and abused by King which may have led to his decline.

    Was Holmes an ATG?
Was he ever close to fighting Tyson?
How much money did he get from the Bruno fight?
Are you passing your knowledge and experience to younger fighters?
What would he have done differently?

Ask him if he felt robbed after the Holmes fight and if felt like a sacraficial lamb, being that he took that fight real early in his career. I thought that fight was either a draw or Spoon by a round or 2.

Thanks for not ripping into me.You guys are ok after all.I can answer one question so far he is training his son Tim Witherspoon Jr.He should be fighting May 12 or was it April damn I forget sometimes.Did have a great victory over Bruno in the UK though. Also probably one of the nicest fighters I've talked to.But yes I'll be sure to ask him thanks.

    Nice....

    Great topic here.

    1. Who gave him the nickname 'Terrible' and why?
    2. Is he involved in Chazz Witherspoons career in any way?

Yes out of a weak divison when Tyson was on the rampage , Tim is the guy who could have given Mike problems , but as we know Mr Smith spoiled all that.

Question for Tim who hit the hardest who he fought
How hard did Frank Bruno Hit ??
Remember reality is an illusion caused by a lack of alcohol .

I don't want to sound like an interviewer but I did ask Tim if he was promoting Chazz he said "his first few fights he was under me then he went with some guy name Wayne".Sounds a little shady to me.He is promoting fighters under his promotion named Fingerspoon.Anyway back to Chazz now. They don't really think he can do well in the upper tier of oppenents. He and little Timmy think his trainer is very inexpierenced.I believe their is some bad blood between Tim and Chazz. So I really didn't push to much but I have been seeing him an awful lot I'll keep you guys informed.

In that case if they do not get on I would tell him the truth Chazz is not good enough to be heavyweight champ

Absolutley they really don't think that either. The funny thing is he is actually a blown up cruiserweight now. They said he used to weight right around 200 to 205,but he did alot of bodybuilding type lifting and who knows what else.

He has probably got his father's genes of being lazy and not fully committed.

I'm curious on both of these as well.

Tales of Bruno's power vary greatly.
