Thread: Either Trinidad or Brian Vera for Taylor

on boxingscene, quoting pos Dibella. Trinidad's the goal, if not they'll fall back on Brian Vera who would have to move up to 168. He's taken some hard fights, no reason to complain about Vera IMO.

Although I think Taylor would fight safe, it would be nice to see him go all out against Tito, and get KTFO! Get him Tito!

Vera is trying to cash in bigtime off that win if he gets signed to fight Taylor. Too much for him, and Taylor will actually block those looping hooks rather than eating them like Lee. It would be a counter punching clinic and Vera would be the pupil. Bad matchup if it happens.

Trinidad can't beat Taylor at this age

My respect for Taylor has grown again after the Pavlik fights, and I'd have no problem with him taking an ease in fight in the move up in weight. However both of these are no gimme's, but they're both fights he can take IMO.

Vera is nowhere near Taylors level. Trinidad-Taylor could be an interesting matchup though.
