Thread: Has Your Family Ever Done Anything Bit Special In Boxing ??

My Grandad's brother stopped an Olympic gold medalist aka Terry Spinks in 1 round have you guys got any stories like that ??

Nah, but I was talking about boxing with my dad one time (he's not a boxing fan) and he was telling me about a tough black boxer he used to hang around with in Nova Scotia when he was younger, named Trevor Berbick.

He told me how they used to hang out at this rec center, and my dad made the mistake of agreeing to spar with him (dad was a few years older than him), and Berbick put him on his ass real quick. The funny thing was, my dad not being a boxing fan, he had no idea Berbick went on to become a world champ, and fought guys like Ali and Tyson. He was just known as a tough guy around that area, getting into fights a lot and giving out serious beatdowns.

Not a spectacular story by any means, just thought it was cool to find out my dad hung out, sparred and got whooped by a Heavyweight champ/Tyson victim

Well , i dont anybody of my family that done something special , but i have a nephew that is growing up in the Amateur Boxing and is a Prospect for the next Olympics Game , he just have 13 years old and if you see him doesnt look at his age , because inside of the ring mannn , he is really damn good bro......i going try to uploading some videos for the next time for see all of your opinions , in what he would get better......
