I was reading an interview with this guy and he talks like he is the greatest fighter in the world p4p. He said that all his fights are mismatches, and I agree with him on that. His last 2 opponents had more loses than wins in their last 6 or 7 fights before fighting Mundine. Now hes fighting Sam Soliman again?! Are you sh@tting me. I think the WBA should enforce mandatory defences against guys in their top 10 at this point or Mundine will be champion for the next 10 years. Every time he has stepped up he has lost though and I think he knows he cant beat Bute, Kessler, or any of the real champions.

He's speaking to a domestic audience of Australian punters and trying to convince them he's worth buying a ticket to see. I'm sure he doesn't believe it himself. I'd still back him to beat fellow loudmouth Carl Froch though. At least Mundine had the bottle to step up at some point in his career and actually succeeded.

The thing is hes not a terrible fighter, he just not elite or as good as he thinks he is. His biggest wins are Danny Green and Sam Soliman. That says it all. Yes, at lest he fough Kess and Ottke but neither was a winning effort. Froch hasnt fought anyone of note yet but when he does well see if hes another hyped prospect or legit.

I rate Mundine for sure, he's a damn good fighter... But he certainly doesn't seem to care about fighting anyone good these days. He did well enough against Kessler and proved he can hang with anyone in the division imo.. Just don't know why he isn't showing any interest in fighting someone good. I'd be surprised if he wouldn't beat Froch, Inkin, Bute, and several other good young fighters. He's in the mix if he want's to be, that's basically a question mark though.

The problem is, we here Aussies are so starved for an international sportsman in general, and a boxing one specifically, that he can sell out as many dodgy fights with Sam Soliman and other B Class fighters for as long as he likes here...

It may be his management, but during one of his "i'm the greatest in the world" speaches, he could maybe throw in "I want to fight some of the worlds OTHER greatest fighters in the world"...

God, i've started on this subject before and I can't stop... The real, true, completely annoying part of the whole Mundine saga, is that he has some talent, and it will be completely wasted.... He has evolved since his last loss and I think would do a lot better against Kess the second time around.. But it's never going to happen... While he's putting himself on the stage of being a "champion", he's got to start acting like one.. And I don't mean running his mouth... I mean, getting in the damn ring with some of the great great competition out there...

I forgot to mention the fact, that I HATE him because of all this crap... He talks the biggest amount of shit that any fighter has, and he's not prepared to back it up with activity... It's tireing, boring, a waste of time, and useless.

He doesn't have a winning personality OR attitude towards boxing... Not something I could ever be a fan off...

I definately rate Mundine in the top 5 at SMW if not the top 3.

He was competitive against Kessler is his loss, Kess is now #1 or 2 depending on which division you put Calzaghe in.

He was destroying Ottke until he got caught, shit happens in this case a temple shot.

As bad as he makes himself look with his mouth, you can't deny his speed and skill, not the best by any stretch, but damn good.

Mundine is pathetic for fighting a guy a 3rd time and yet he has beat him twice this guy is a "Contender" too.

Soliman is a bigger threat than Juan Lazcano.....

Ok Ok just a little dig. Mundines opponents are a joke but his ability is anything but a joke. Mundine beats everyone at SMW other than Kessler, and if he does move down to 160 he may beat everyone....... He'll wipe the floor with Sturm if he fights him.

according to Majesty everybody (EVERYBODY) is ducking him so its not his fault that only guys like Nadar Hamdan step up to the plate.

Cotto fought a contender too and so did Oscar De La Hoya.


Difference is no other super middleweight wanted to fight Mundine so thats not his problem he is ducked is it?
