Punch Power: 48405 | | Fugitty Fug Fug Fug Got a call like 5 mins ago from coach. My guy I'm fighting is not showing up...
He said it could just be the trainer playing head games with us because he does this (National Team Team coach) but yea...FUGITTY FUG FUG FUG
Still got to go to weigh ins and all that jazz tomorrow, but dammit.
How common is it to get fights cancelled? This is like the 3 or 4th one I've had.

Here's what you could do. Take crap in a shoebox, wrap it up like a present, and then drop it off on that coach's doorstep. If you wish to write a short note, it could say, "Thanks for cancelling the fight, because unlike you I actually do give a shit."
I'm not saying that you should do it, but I know that if it were me I'd feel pretty square with the other coach afterwards.

Punch Power: 4497 | | Re: Fugitty Fug Fug Fug +30 I feel you bro. There's no worst feeling than busting your ass for something that matters most and having it pulled right from underneith you. All I can say is stay focussed, they can always checken out, but they can't stop you from fighting if that's what your heart is set on.
Since you know who the that national coach is, in the future you outta get a personal kick out of giving his boys an asswhipping. I can't think of anything more satisfying than that. |

It was all over a parking issue on a nature strip out the front of their houses .

Punch Power: 4497 | | Re: Fugitty Fug Fug Fug Don't sweat it. The only what-if's you should be thinking about is what you are going to do to your opponent. Just thinking about the immortal wisdom that Rocky Marciano instilled upon a fighter when he was working his ring of a nervous young fighter, "Just hit 'em on the potatoe and you'll ruin him!" The kid ended up doing just that. So all you gotta do is hit him on the potatoe, melon, noodle or whatever you want to call it, and you can put all this crap out of your mind.
Now instead of having your imagination work against, have a sense of humor to be your guide. Imagine on your long vision quest before this fight, your spirit image is revealed to be none other than the disembodied head of Roger Mayweather. What would he say? "We gone fug dis muhfug up!" Truer words could not be spoken.
So just relax and pop in some Bob Marley music to put your mind at ease, or if you want to go on the war path, some Pantera will do the trick. |

Punch Power: 48405 | | Re: Fugitty Fug Fug Fug Well no fight. Kid had a last minute emergency family reunion ... Got there and got ducked by another kid too in an exhibition match. 5 years older and lots more fights and wouldn't fight.
My fellow club members both had fights and won, including the main event. Good news is our local rivalry club has a boxer who is young, has similar experience to me, and last night, he KTFO his opponent. Viciously. Showed some good skill and mainly crazy strength. I know about his strength cuz he is my cousin. haha
Was the first time I watched him fight. They didn't match me up with him as he'd been off with an injury for a while and we think they just wanted a diff. match for him. But hey, it looks like he may be one of the most challenging fighters for me in this whole province, and he's right here, no travel. Where the aunts and uncle's stand in the crowd when it happens will be interesting. |
