OK making this a sticky for the pub style chat round by rounds etc for tonights fights.


The fighters weighed-in as follows:

Junior Witter: 139.5 lb
Timothy Bradley: 139.25 lb

Carl Froch: 167.5 lb
Albert Rybacki: 168.25

Junior Witter: “Timothy Bradley has had some success already. He’s a young, talented fighter. He's done quite well for himself, but on Saturday night he’s going to understand what it feels like to be in the ring with a world champion.

“I've seen Bradley box. He’s aggressive and active. He's got quick hands. We have a plan in place that will take him out of his comfort zones. Lets be honest; the champion will remain the champion. I'm going out there to deliver some pain.”

Timothy Bradley: “I can’t wait for the bell to ring. I’m very anxious for my first title fight. People ask me if I’m nervous. It’s a world title fight; I’m itching to get inside the ring. It’s like when you run around in fresh, cut grass. You get that itch.

“During the face off, I didn’t like the way he was looking at me. Saturday, on Showtime, I’ll unleash all of my energy on Junior Witter. I’m going to fight a smart fight. We have an elaborate game plan in place. I’m a versatile fighter so we’ve prepared for a lot of things. I’ll know how and when to attack Witter.”

Nice Lead in boss... Looking forward to both fights, Bradley looks fit as a fiddle but we all know its not a body building contest... Witter should shine tonite to further his cause of getting Hatton in the ring.. To be honest I have no earthly idea who the guy Froch is fighting.. The cobra is heavy handed with a defense that make Lacy look like a Winky Wright so whomever he fights it guarantees to be exciting...

Also its a treat to see Witter on Showtime tonight, we dont usually get access to British fighters on american TV unless they are mainstream..

Bradley has been very confident in the biuld up to this fight does anyone give him a chance at a big upet?

Its definetly a recipe for a trick fight for Witter, he better not get to over anxious to impress, but let the KO or fight come to him

It's a big night for Witter in Britain too, this fight is live on "free" TV.

Which obviously means it's guaranteed he has one of his "stink the joint out" nights

Froch should look good tonight against a no hoper carnt see that fight lasting longer than 3 rounds.The Witter fight looks a decent one,got a feeling that it might be close fight then Witter comes on strong around 8 and takes a points win.

not me man, I wanna see Witter get Hattons ass in the ring and get his due, he's earned it.. Even RJJ gave Tarver his shot after years and years of calling Jones out and trashing him. Jones made the fight when he didnt have to, and even rematched Tarver too after he beat him..

So all this BS about Ricky not giving Witter his shot because of Witter trashing him...

this almost seems like one of those times where the favored guy spends so much time talking about future fights and comes out flat and loses to the underdog.

I didn't pick Bradley by the way, I've learned that for the most part my gut feelings are shit.
