Punch Power: 952 | | I Want Manny Pacquiao To Stay At Lightweight +195 All this nonsense about him moving up to Jr Welterweight to fight Hatton etc, is just silly. IMO it would be much better him staying at Lightweight the possibilities are endless at Lightweight, and i believe Hatton would be far too strong for Pacquiao, so i hope Pacquiao doesn't get too big headed.

Punch Power: 0 | | Re: I Want Manny Pacquiao To Stay At Lightweight Agreed. There's need for him to go further up in weight. I wanna see him fight these guys first before he retire.
2008
1. David Diaz (scheduled)
2. Juan Manuel Marquez
2009
Not in order:
Joel Casamayor
Nate Campbell
Edwin Valero
Joan Guzman
2010
Amir Khan (he should be ready for Pac by that time if he's still undefeated and comfortable in that weight).
And lastly, a more improved Juan Diaz or Michael Katsidis.
Manny Pacquiao said it himself that he will retire in 2010 and pursue his political ambition.

Not even joking.

Punch Power: 2339 | | Re: I Want Manny Pacquiao To Stay At Lightweight I'm not even sure how much I like him moving up from 129, I mean the guys are big at lightweight and Manny isn't going to be bigger then many guys up there. I think Anthony Peterson is the future of that division.

Manny could win fights at lightweight but never in Junior welter, NEVER!!! |

He looked in good condition.
He looked huge against Marquez too.
He is quite big framed for a lighter guy. I think he would cope with it quite well. I think he would be too much for most guys at 140. It's a much weaker division than 135. |

Punch Power: 97 | | Re: I Want Manny Pacquiao To Stay At Lightweight I don't want to see it, but I believe it's going to happen. The $$$$ will be too much temptation. Pacsleft gave a great list of fights for Manny and I think most of us on the forum would like to see those fights, but not a single one of those other fights will draw as much as a Hatton fight. That would be one of the top possible money makers out there, and economics almost always dictates.

Manny Pacquiao is like a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X with a turbocharged 4 cylinder, fighting a V12 Lambo Murcielago in a DRAG RACE. Manny is just going to be overpowered by these NATURALLY bigger fighters. |

Punch Power: 817 | | Re: I Want Manny Pacquiao To Stay At Lightweight I'd prefer Pacquiao to stay at 135 as well but there is only a couple fights there worth staying for.
Firstly Diaz which is coming up.
Then hopefully the Casamayor/ Campbell winner(hope this fight gets made) or a rematch with Marquez.
The only other fight worth seeing IMO is Guzman now that he's moving to 135. (Guzman won't make the sort of money a Hatton fight will so I think Manny will move up).

Punch Power: 41 | | Re: I Want Manny Pacquiao To Stay At Lightweight If he took all the fights and won them all, he would be up there with the greatest ever boxers!!
I'd like to see many of those fights made, but I'm leaning towards him moving up like others have said. The money would just be so tempting. | |
