Default a new era in boxing

when will a new fighter emerge to capture the publics imagination?

joe louis in the 50's ( hope thats right)

ali in the 60's and 70's

tyson in the 80's and 90's, and now even.

right now, boxing would be dead without tyson. no boxer can pull in crowds like he can or did.
it should be time for a new talent to appear on the scene. one who can draw in millions of viewers. but he hasnt appeared yet.
    when will that be?

Just look at the welterweight division, and anywhere near it... it is overloaded with talent right now!

Time will tell all we can do is wait and see what will ensue.

Ricky Hatton , IMO he is the most underated talented boxer out there, he was around ages before he got the belt, which he deserved atleast 5 fights before the title shot was given to him.

Unless we get more charismatic boxers there wont be one, look at Klitchko, a boring style and a boring guy. What we need is a loud mouth, cocky yank to capture our imaginations
