Default Tye Fields vs Monte Barrett

I just notice that Fields is fighting Monte Barrett on the Pacman/Diaz undercard. I'm a little ashamed, but I'm strangely intrigued by this fight. I suspect Barrett is going to give him a beating unless he has absolutely nothing left in the tank. Does it make be a bad person that hoping Barretts sparks out Fields so we can be done with him forever? He seems like a nice enough guy, but as a fighter he's walking joke. I bet his people must think Monte is completely washed up.

All I know is that I will cry tears of joy when someone finally beats Fields silly. What a big dummy. A nice guy, but can't he be nice somewhere else?He gets so happy after one of his awful fights "I'm the best"

I think Barrett is going to get knocked out. Not that Fields is any good. It's just that real tall fighters always give Barrett a real hard time. Wladimir Kiltschko, Nikolay Valuev and Lance Whitaker. Fields is garbage. But he's a tall piece of garbage

I would not be ashamed. The networks and promoters should be ashamed for trying to pass the guy off as a quality fighter. It is bad enough we endure him on ESPN fight cards but now we have to endure him on the undercard of big name fighters.

Tye Fields belongs headlining in high school gym's or local fundraisers at the VFW

I hope to hell Barrett wins this fight, but Fields is heavy and may wear Barett down by obsorbing his shots like somekind of 6'3" 225lbs 13 year old that can't be brought to church.

Every time I watch a Tye Fields fight I have to double check the tv to make sure it's not on slow motion.

After Valuev he hasnt been the same. I dont think the first Couser fight was a fluke. I think Fields stops him late.

Fields is a relentless punching machine and will simply batter Monte into submission within 3 rounds.

You laugh but Tye is no joke.

Although the fact that he is probably America's best hope most definitely is

Everytime Uncle Bob would stick us with him on Versus, I would change the channel.

Fields looks like he's a slow motion replay hes so slow.

If i was in a suite of armour , underwater , and asleep i could throw faster combo's than Fields.

Let's not forget that Monte Barrett WAS a good boxer at one point in time....not challenge for a belt good but a good acid test for up and coming fighters. Since the win vs Guinn he has really fallen off getting KO'd by the likes of Cliff Couser but when he fought Wladimir he took Wlad's best for 7 rounds (that's something to be proud of, lasting 7 with a Wlad who would really let his hands go) and vs Valuev he stunned Nicky big time with the first punch he threw....he didn't do anything after that but he showed he had the ability and the power to hurt him.

I personally see Fields battering poor Monte around the ring but Fields is a goofy SOB and I think Monte could upset him but it's very doubtful at this stage in his career.

If Fields steps up to the Cris Arreola's of the world then he's going to get his big ass KO'd.
