i think if this happens well see that beatdown of floyd we have been waiting for , but i cant see it , why would he walk away from a 20mil payday to go to a sport were fighters get paid very little by comparison

Your title says 'Mayweather signs with UFC' so seeing as it's not factual can you edit the title because people are getting tired of thread titles like this-including me.

yer thats wat i said on the forums i got link from, he would make x10 more money in boxing then ufc, it just dnt make sense lol.

unless he really just wants to get more popular with a wider audience.

hell get smashed too in my opinion, his skills will mean very little in that cage, i think his just flirting with the idea to increase his own populairty like tyson did with k1

I highly doubt it. Floyd is a great boxer but he is no MMA fighter. You can not lay up on the cage and counter people. The elite fighters in his weight class would break his arms and ankles just for bragging rights if it was true.

Maybe UFC,maybe Afflication? Maybe just a ploy to earn more money from Oscar in arematch? Either way,I couldn't care less.

If he wants a big pay day for the fans and for his leagacy he needs to fight Cotto. This has to happen. Same with Joe Calzaghe and Kelly Pavlik after tonight.

Floyd retired, and around the same time Dana White (UFC PResident) announced he had a HUGE announcement to make in the coming days. Simply a few people drawing conclusions. Don't hold your breathe on this one guys.

All of Dana's other huge announcements have been who the new TUF coaches are.

Mayweather could easily get good enough to compete at BJJ in a year, and in the mean time he could fight guys that would stand no chance against his stand up. I still think he would be better suited for the WEC with its 144 division.

Glad to see he has found another road to success.....He should look just as smooth and slick holding those ring cards above his head walking around the octagon in the little shorts .......
