you carry your hands quite low at times but if you get away with it...
pretty good otherwise. you got out of the corner very nicely a few times...
on a shorter guy I always like to use my jab as more of a range finder (since my jab is adequate at best anyway) and then come over the top with the right and then go to the body with the right as now he's facing a bit to his right leaving his left side exposed. that's getting to be a bit of a trademark for me.
Nice 1 Von ill try that next time im sparring, im gna work super hard through this off season bring it on lol.
Nice second fight gally. I agree with Von on the hand deal. It seemed when you got hit it was just over top of your guard. I think you did very well. How tall are you?
I suck at scoring fights but it did seem close and maybe you should have even won it.
Who posted this on youtube, the other guy? I read his reaction and he seemed kinda bent. lol
Good Luck in your next one!
im 6 ft 2 was fighting at 77 kg ye it was the other dude or 1a his mates he was the fighter at home.
Gally thought you did well, it wasnt easy in there nice one.

Cheers for the help guys, i absolutely loved it in there and the occasion was quality cant wait to get back in there.
I dont pretend to have any tested in the ring advice...solid go at it there ,much respect for sharing. That guy was a bull, maybe stiffen up the jab in the chest/head.Watch those corners also... best of luck to ya with progress.
Can't see right now because I'm at work, I'll take a look soon as I can mate.
I get incredibly nervous before fights, but feel great when my feet hit the canvas.
It all gets easier after 5 fights or so.

I mthink you looked guy, just slow3 the whole thing sdown and avoid tiring yourself.
Let your jab and his head do the work

Good luck to you, it's not easy in there in front of all those people in a hostile venue ..... you look fit enough, and at least you're a real fighter and not an armchair supporter (or even a delusional half-wit like a couple of people I can think of on here)
You let him boss the fight a bit, he set the pace and was dictating the pattern of the bout. I know it's easier said than done, but if you set your pace, it will tire him out quicker even if that pace is slower than his preferred one (I think it's stressful to fight at another guy's pace, and that is tiring)
Good luck though - keep it up.

Im sitting here in Australia (in my armchair ) and I applauded at the end too .
Tough one, good job mate. He peek a boo'd his way in . I think you have to make him question all that at a distance chosen by you next time. Maybe use a more side on snappy stiff jab right down the pipe, use your full reach and height and your legs to move and just interupt his distanceing more. People who peek a boo cant see you as well when you move out on an angle if you stay close, they have to adjust or square up still covered. You could side step to your right when he eventually comes through your jab range ,square up by pulling your left leg around behind you and catch him with a right hook before his left glove covers up his temple up again etc or go low and high ribs /temple to get his glove off his face.
Distance control first then angles all to your benifit for when he does close in, would make the fight change.
man the camera man sucked ass.
how long you been pugilizing for? The things i noticed was when you were exchanging, your chin was up too high, seemed really vulnerable to a long hook, and as people have said, you need a jab to really post up on that guys face from bullying into you.
I really liked how you spun him around like a matador a couple times though, looked pretty slick. A stiff jab plus that technique, and you coulda been boxing circles around the guy.
