Anthony Mundine has apparently offered Danny Green a "lucrative" contract to have a rematch of their first fight. Apparently Green is interested, its on boxingscene.

Apparently Soliman-Mundine 4 is in the works if Mundine beats Green. Actually I made that up but who knows

I thought he opted out of a Kessler rematch because he wanted to go to middleweight? Apparently he's tempted by the big money of another Green fight.

Hopefully he doesn't take Green lightly because of their first fight. Maybe he should take a tune up fight with Nader Hamdan or Rico Chong Nee to make sure he's ready.

One thing about Mundine that I guess you could say is he really obviously doesn't give a shit what anybody thinks about him (maybe he did before the Ottke debacle and then thought "I got KO'd by Sven Ottke, is there any point in trying to maintain some sort of image"), making good money fighting either total no hopers or guys he knows he can beat cause he's beaten them before.

Damn Green if he takes this fight...I wanted him to fight Erdei,but as you all know he retired on short notice before the fight could happen...

Didn't that WAW guy post in the Sven Ottke is the greatest thread something like...that Ottke had good power,but just didn't use it...Probably would have made things too easy for Ottke...

Mundine is a skilled fighter and when he fought Ottke he was very inexperienced at the time, and he was beating Ottke until that fatal temple shot landed, anybody can KO anyone with a temple shot regardless if there not a big puncher, i've been very disappointed with Mundine he has the tools to be a major force in SMW but yet he is wasting his career fighting pointless rematches, i don't like Mundine as a person i think he is an ass personally, but skill's wise he has got the tools shame he is wasting his career.

It doesn't matter how many excuses there was for Mundine.

He got sparked unconcious by Sven Ottke! Sven Ottke! It wasn't until Powderpuff (Paulie Mali) came along a man was worthy enough to take Sven's powderpuff title.

The best excuse ever was - Mundine wasn't really hurt, he was tired, so pretended he was unconcious. (A Mundine fan that still visits this site.. very nice guy too )

The prefight comment of Mundine was something like "Ottke hits like a little girl"...the post fight comment was..."I don't care...Ottke still hits like a little girl"...then Ottke " Well...then you've just been kayoed by a little girl..."
Not sure if it was exactly like that but sums it up well enough...

I don't think he opted out of a 2nd fight against Kessler, Kessler is looking at bigger fish one would think. And i don't know whether making more than $4M on one night is a waste of a career. He also has to stay active against top fighters and there aren't too many who are available who can bring a pay day like Green can against Mundine. The guys who can aren't interested in Mundine because he's not a big enough name in the USA or UK.

..i can't defend him, but i do like mundine, and look forward to seeing him in the ring with anyone except sam soliman again.
