Thread: Torres vs Holt 3 Needs To Happen

First of all I gotta say that this hinges on Torres being able to recover from such a devastating experience.

I had actually picked Holt to win the fight but I thought it would be on points. I was thinking that if it ended by KO it would be Torres winning.

If that is the case then he should definitely have the opportunity to avenge that loss for three very important reasons:

1) He was not mandated to give Holt the rematch and not only did he do it but he came to the U.S. to do it.

2)Regardless of how it happened, each guy won 1 over the other.

3)The most important reason: Although it was clearly unintentional, the fight changed due to a really hard headbutt. Torres' legs were clearly affected by the butt as he stumbled back and fell onto the ropes and Holt did what ant fighter in his position should do which is go for the kill.

I'm surprised at the Showtime crew for neglecting to acknowledge the severity of impact that headbutt had on the outcome.

I Agree!! The headbutt is a big factor, Torres deserves a rematch!!!
