So you saw a fight that you were looking forward to and after you enjoyed it. Then ten years later by chance you watch it again and think what was I thinking about enjoying that in the first place Any

I have had some of those, TBH I have that feeling a lot with many Tyson fights, I sit and say to myself "Other then the KO the whole performance was average at best" yet at the time he was a phenom.
With that bheing said I have also been on the opposite end of that and looked at a fight years after I seen it the first time thinking it was not that good of an outing and realized it was a great fight

I remember watching some of Lennox's wins and at the time thinking that they were nothing special. Now looking back and comparing him to todays heavyweights i appreciate how good he was.
I remember the lead up to Kostya Zab and worried that my boy Tszyu was gonna lose. Then when he won i was over the moon. I've seen the KO 1000 times since and feel good everytime.
I kind of think the same thing with ESPN fights. I love live fights because of the unknown, once the unknown is removed a lot of times the fights become not quite what you thought they were.
I think alot of it is a metaphor for life.Different Fights are like songs....some you replay and memorize in your mind and some you wish you could forget. With very good fights ,you remember "The moment" of where you were in life and what you were doing then.Like the first time you heard that classic song,it all come back.
Wtf.. halmark moment
Thinking here...
Abraham vs. Ayala - Watched again a few days after it happened and then said to myself this was a pretty dull fight.
Hopkisn vs. Jackson - I remember seeing this and thinking wow! what show but I saw years later and then again and think it's nothing more then a glorified sparring session.
Norwood vs. Koshimoto - As I saw it I thought it was good little battle. After seeing it yrs. later aside from the brutal ending KO the fight was just OK.
One that comes to mind, it might surprise everybody, was Hagler Duran when I rewatched it I wondered what was all that about
