    Default Remember this

Lately there has been alot of hooplah about David Haye taking over the heavyweight division and taking out the Klitschko and such. The thing I must show to you is this.Carl Thompson is a good fighter and no where near Klitschko skill wise or power wise.So if David Haye is the man to take over the heavies what the hell is this then.Over and over again Thompson is able to land a straight right hand to the head of Haye he simply has no defense for this. What do you think Klitschko would do to Haye who has an even faster and harder blinding straight hand. It's not about how you look folks it's about how it's done.

I put Hayes dodgy chin on him losing so much weight making the 200lb limit.

I promise you this: David Haye will make a better heavyweight than he was a Cruserweight. Use that as a guide not an old fight against Carl Thompson, Haye is not that fighter anymore he lernt more from that than any victory.

Let me also counter you daft argument: If Wlad got hit with Purities right hand and hurt what will Hayes do?

Bringing up loses years ago to discredit fighters is beyond lame esp if a fighter has won every fight since and dominate world title fights. Thats like bringing up Vince Phillips win over Tszyu or McCalls win over Lewis, they mean nothing.

I think it's all somewhat mute.Until Haye makes his permanent base at Heavy in with world class competiton,we can speculate until the sun sets.Although,I think a fighters past fights are always, in one way or another, relative.Ecspecially if they come back from the defeat and avenge it....Lewis/McCall or not....Phillips/Tszyu.

As I've said time and time again, I'm a Haye fan it's just that I'm a bigger Wladdy fan and have been a fan for yrs.

But come on you can't be serious... Posting the Thompson fight as a way to show him up? I don't think Haye had hit double digits in fights when he fought Carl...
It was a learning experience for Haye and his team they wanted to see how far along he was and they found out that's why the towel came in.
But as I state time and time again, it's a learning experience he moved on and he became the unified CW champ and if you can't see that he fought JMMormeck & Enzo two fucken monstrous hitters and beat them both then your just indenial...

However I do agree that Haye is there to be hit with the right hand and if Wladdy can actually get in a tempo and let his hands go he can land it and spark out Haye.

All I'm saying this is the guy who supposed to be the next big thing in the heavyweight division. I might add who the hell is Carl Thompson.Vince Phillips a tremendous underated fighter when he fought Tszyu it was his time to shine.I mean this guy is calling out the all heavyweight's and he will probably get his shot but why.Because he shot his mouth off about how bad Klitschko is.This guy is a fraud he has fought no one of legitimacy and when he did against an old veteran Thompson he was taken out easily.Oh I'm sorry he beat a plodding ok puncher in Mormeck.

I like Haye's chances vs the plodders of the division, Sam Peter type fighters but I think Haye could have a ton of trouble with the more technical guys like Chagaev, Sultan, and maybe even Povetkin.

Wlad is a large step up from Enzo Maccarinelli and Jean Marc Mormeck people had better realize that!

Haye needs to fight some these guys: Danny Williams, Matt Skelton, Audley Harrison (because you fucking brits expect it), Alexander Dimitrenko, Cris Arreola, Eddie Chambers, Andrew Golota, Oleg Maskaev, Juan Carlos Gomez, or Monte Barrett

First of all Tszyu was in the worst shape of his career for the fight with Phillips and if they fought another 10 times Tszyu would have crushed him every time. Second how can a man who unifies a division in this day and age be a "FRAUD"? He beat much better fighters than Thompson in Maccarinelli and Mormeck and also he has had one fight at heavy by the way he fought Tomasz Bonin a Polish heavyweight who had only been beaten once in 38 fights and knocked him out in the first round. Fraud my ass!!

The other fighter that beat Bonin......Audley Harrison....so Fraud MAYBE but nothing is certain right now.

Maccarinelli didn't really get tested by anyone until Haye.

I'd say Mormeck is the only guy that I am really impressed with on Haye's record

I would not actually call him a fraud ,at least not until he plants himself in the Heavyweight division and fails...not that he will, but I also cannot assume success on him simply by riding his Cruiserweight accomplishments,I think he will carry his speed=Power up but really....he has accomplished nothing at heavy so far....time will ultimatly tell if he can be ,cough, Holyfield-ish or not.Its apple & oranges really.....even in the so-so heavyweight scene. He has brought much anticipation/speculation to the ranks though.....much needed.

Yeah fair enough it was Audley I left that out on purpose but it was nothing like this demolition and I think that Wlad and Peter are the only other two capable of a performance like this against Bonin of todays crop.

Bonin is just another protected Polish fighter same as that Wach fella.

I want to see Haye do well but I am a Wlad fan and want him to unify the titles. I want a build up for this type of fight as Haye is hyped up a bit and has good skills enough to test anyone in the division but we don't know how good he will be
