I don't think Calzaghe was ducking Johnson, and I don't think that's what Tysonbruno was saying. He was saying Johnson got tired of waiting (and not earning) for Calzaghe to be healthy so he moved on to fight others. I really wish that match could have been made, would have been a wildly entertaining fight, but it just wasn't in the cards.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
I think it's his right hand this time, not the one he broke against Ashira. It's possible that date and Frank does have something to do with it. Jc has been on holiday since Hopkins, only got back last week, 8 weeks is not enough if you've been doing nothing for months.
Roy Jones Jr. fought Hopkins with a broken hand......and won.
Jeah but if he had lost you would have never heard the end of it, so I'd much rather a fighter pull out if he's hurt than use that as an excuse after the fight.
calzaghe getting "injured" before a fight in which he could potentially lose to an old man...
shocking
I would rather see him fight at 100% so there will be no exusess if he loses.
The Hopkins Calzaghe beat 43 or not was easier to beat than the 93 version Roy got.
That Hopkins activly pressed and let his hands go that is chick feed for Calzaghe who would pick him to peices.
All his biggest wins are against blown up 'little guys' i.e DLH and Tito. I could pick holes in most of his opponents throughout his Middleweight reign
