Punch Power: 11286 | | FNF Thread Joval vs. McGirt Jr. +4598 From WNF in Sunny California we head east nestled half way between Lake Ontario and the Atlantic Ocean to Saratoga Springs, NY to see some middleweight action. Raymond Joval 37-4-0 (16 KOs) - vs. - James McGirt Jr. 18-1-0 (9 KOs)
World travelling boxer Ray Joval (from Amsterdam, Netherlands)
returns to the US at 39 years young. Last year he had a huge win
over Willie Gibbs but has since only had one fight and has also had
9 months of downtime. His opponent 25 year old James McGirt Jr. is
returning to the ring just three months after his first career loss in
a battle of the sons against Carlos de Leon Jr. My take: This is a pretty even match-up neither guy posses real power
but both have definate skill in the ring. Everything about this fight should
be exactly opposite of WNF I expect to see a lot jabs and lot of leg work. I think McGirt will take the first round, Joval will use his massive experience to sweep the next three. Back to McGirt landing something meaningful in 1 or 2 of the middle rounds and Joval sweeping the last 3 again.
Joval wide UD
If you ever get confused on who's who Joval is the one with the blonde hair crown.

I'm picking Joval on this one by late ko.

I'm picking Joval on this one by late ko. | I'm hoping this fight is an exciting precursor to this weekends fights.
Although these guys are both boxers there should still be some exciting exchanges. |

Punch Power: 9035 | | Re: FNF Thread Joval vs. McGirt Jr. +3784 McGirt Jr. has disappointed me in these last couple of fights. I used to be fairly big on him but he's gotten to be so mechanical. I think it might be he has a great trainer in his dad who probably pours knowledge into him 24/7 and he tries to do it all on fight night, but he has to relax some. Really, he has good speed and athleticism but he is negating that by being so robotic. Joval is just a solid fighter. Very solid, it definitely takes an A game to beat him and it's probably a step up for McGirt too. Very odd choice in opponent, but if he wins then it'll go a long way to erasing the bad taste from his alst fight out of his mouth.
