Default Antonio Margarito vs Miguel Cotto My Thoughts

The fight went as i expected except Antonio Margarito took Miguel Cotto's shots much better than i expected and Antonio Margarito was much more active to the body than Miguel Cotto was which was surprising...........

I know Antonio Margarito has always been very aggressive but he was like man possessed he wasn't take no for an answer and it was one of the most determined efforts i've seen in sometime............

I think Miguel Cotto's biggest flaw was going to the ropes too much Antonio Margarito always does his best work when his opponent is against the ropes and Antonio Margarito hammered Miguel Cotto against the ropes..........

I don't think this loss hurts Miguel Cotto he showed great heart and gave it his all and looked sharp at times and i only had him behind 1 or 2 rounds up until the stoppage...........

As for Antonio Margarito im really happy for him that he finally has got a big win on the big stage he has been avoided for many years and its nice to see him finally get what he has always wanted...........

Not much else to say really except i thought the fight turned around after the 6th round and i think Antonio Margarito needs to fight Paul Williams or if that can't be made then maybe a fight with Andre Berto or Zab Judah vs Joshua Clottley winner.............

I think that cottos biggest flaw in the fight was that he didnt move at angles to get away from margarito and then throw his own shots again, he sorta turned away and trotted off and waited on the ropes for margarito to come and fire again, all in all thogh an amzing fight, both men deserve so much credit.
