I suppose the short answer is he isnt fighting the Oliviera's of the world anymore.

When he went back to fighting a shell of fighter (Castillo) he looked good again.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think Castillo is fighting tonight.

Also when they fought Castillo was not at his best but he was still top 3 in the LW division.

Mate I probably used that same line to defend him going back. But lets be honest. Castillo was toilet against N'Goujou (SP?) He was ranked on past exploits.

    I agree to a point.

But i would not be supprised if he fought for a world title belt in the future.

Good post mate. Pre hug he didnt fight the calibre of fighter he is now. If anything the hug has made him more competitive than he might have been.

I don t know why so many people think Hatton will blast out Malignagi.

Paulie will literaly run rings around him and Hatton knowing that Paulie doesnt punch wont be as carefull abut his head movement and defence, he is gonna get peppered.

I do see Paulie struggling more than he did with Cotto though, I think Hatton is stronger at this weight than Cotto was.

His style has completelt changed that is not the case.

He looked poor against Castillo one shot aside and he was poor against Lazcano, Maussa and Urango all 3 hardly elite.

Its tactical he used it in the Tszyu fight and carried it on to a career worst display against Mayweather and tried to jab and box his way in last bout.

Needs work but at 29 will be tough.

N`gojo got robbed against Malinaggi so either Castillo was gone or Paulie is way ocer-rated.

He was younger then and i'd bet fitter.

Remember he boxed well for the first 4/5 rounds against Urango (clearly picked for Hatton to do this) before getting hurt, getting tired and finishing the fight in quite an embarrassing manner.

Maybe up in class he doesn't have the same confidence. Getting in someones face and grabbing them makes him feel safer.

Also.. maybe when you have £50 billion quid you just don't want it the same - even though you kid yourself you do.
