BY PARRYING: on a str rght lead cross parry with your right hand and hook the left to the chin; on a str rght lead cross parry and hook your left to the body. Perform the parrying movement with the wrist and arm, moving the elbow only as much as necessary. This is a "sucker" move; remember that the parrying move is more wrist than arm, and don't raise your elbow, lower left to get it out of the way. From this position I would shift my weight onto the right leg and throw a south-paw style str. left hand. If your opponent notices the vulnerability of your chin, duck your head into the crook of your right arm, and under his hook, and hook his body at the same time. BY SLIPPING: on str rght lead slip to inside position (so punch goes by over your left shoulder) and hook the left to the solar plexus. (this slp is the same as slipping to the outside on a left lead)Also, slip inside and hook the left to the chin. On a str rght lead slip to the outside- step forward and sidways , shift the body weight over left leg, swing right shoulderr forward, this will turn the hip as well. From here you can counter to either the liver or to the chin. Or, take a step to the left, turn hip and shoulder as above, left uppercut to the solar plxus. On this move and on the hook to the body above, shift weight onto the right leg then immediately back to the left leg, so that you can then pivot your self to the right and out of range
