I just got an acceptance for my story "Mona" a few days ago. It will appear in the publication "Harvest Hill" this fall by Graveside Tales. I'm glad I didn't shoot myself in the foot, though. They wanted no multiple submissions and I completely missed that and wrote and submitted 2. Maybe if they make a sequel...

Congrats!!! Could you share to us the storyline?

Probably same feeling I had when my first research paper was accepted for publication in a refereed journal.

My story isn't long at all. Approximately 4,000 words. It's supposed to be out sometime this month, but I don't know when.

It's about a sort of rite of passage for the local crazy woman and the two cops who try to anticipate her going coo-coo. That's really the extent of what I can say without giving it away.
