Default purse bids mcallister vs murray

Purse bids are out for former wbu champ lee(aberdeen assassin) mcallister vs the british champ jon murray. lee relinquished his titles and this is overdue. i box with lee and he has had a hard career having a motorbike accident and almost dying, He fought his way back to walk again and eventually could box again, lee has done more than any other aberdeen boxer. poke fun at his titles but this is todays game you need stepping stones and these titles have worked as just that. lee is really talented and this will be a great fight.
Congratulations to lee who just had his first child with his wife. Come on scotland get behind one of your own.

Good to here someone coming back and if he's as good of a lad as ou say then good luck to him. He'll need it too against Murray, who when he fights half decent opponents looks awesome.

After this lets hope he can get a fight with Khan

John Murray looked great in his last fight and at 23yo, for me is the best prospect in the uk.

Murray looked awesome against Meager but his fight before that against Al Hamidi he was awful

Al Hamidi come in last minute (6 hours notice) and Murray was horrendous and was really lucky to get the decision.

At least with Murray they know what he's ready for now, not like Khan being pushed to a world title

I think like most people/teams with serious skills they fight to the opposition.

I dont think Warren would let Khan within 100miles of Murray tbh.

I mean why is Khan fighting huys from 4,000miles away that have no-name or ranking when the British 135lb is so deep.

I think he knows its a 50/50 fight and Khan would struggle to recover or be a big catch with the public if he lost, and won't risk it

its simple i made a thread about kahn ages ago listing fighters here in britain kahn should fight before he runs away across the pond to fight other people but warren is protecting his investment. warrens not stupid he knows kahn is chinny and someone will stop him. so why take a risk on a small stage with murray, thaxton etc when he can do it with a big world name
