    Smile Sergio Mora?

Will he win another world title or did he just get lucky against a Vernon Forrest who hadn't taken him serious? Where will he go from here and what will he achieve? I'm not a hater i'm not a fan of his but not a hater thats why i'm asking you guys.

Now you are just being silly

While your boy Manfredo is still trying to win a belt, Sergio will have won about 3 by the time Manfredo wins his first

Your rebutal? Sergio lost the second fight against Manfredo Jr.

This shiet is getting old even for me.

But I will say this, Sakio Bika is going to light Manfredo up like Christmas tree in November Merry Early Christmas Beating

Wait! My first sentence is wrong! Peter will NEVER win a belt.

    lol

Why ya gotta bring Manfredo into this, Danny? I'm not even sure Tyson is Manfredo fan, and the resident Manfredo supporters like me and POB have backed off Mora and given him props? I can't believe it, but I was actually disappointed that Mora did win. This is a sure sign of the end of days is near. Plenty of people who hate Mora dislike Manfredo just as much. I would think you would root for Manfredo since the better he does, the better it looks for Sergio since the fights, especially the second one, were very close. If Manfredo is crap, Sergio should have had a much easier time with Manfredo.

Tysonbruno, why are you starting? It's clear from your post in the other thread that you don't like Mora, so don't try to pretend your not instigating. Leave Mora alone. He won a belt and beat Forrest once. If he never wins another belt, he's still proven he's good fighter.

To answer the original question, I think he could win another belt at 154, he'd have a shot against Phillips. I can't see him beating the elite 154 or 160lbs'ers though.

You can hate mora or love him, but in the first fight reguadless of whatever excuse forrest had sergio beat him simple and plain. I do belive it was a lesser forrest than we'd seen in the past but a win is a win. Forrest was back to what we all expected in the first fight but i'm not really all that impressed with either guy, it would have been nice for mora to back up that first fight with another win but he does have a right to throw out some silly excuses just as vernon did, do i see him getting another belt no, but i give him props for at least getting it for awhile not many other contender fighters have done even that but it wouldn't surprise me if mora's last win winds up being the high point of his career.

Thing is he has mainly fought at middleweight 160lbs so he must be naturally a middleweight if he struggled to make weight even with 6 week training. And i dont see him beating Sturm WBA champ Abrahams IBF champ and no way Pavlik WBO/WBC champ if he comes back down so unless he can make light middle 154lbs again can't see him taking a world title again. But hat off to him for winning WBC vs Forrest 1st time a win is a win.

I used to hate Mora, But when he beat Forrest the first time he won me over, I was a little pissed he lost in the rematch, But I hope they have a rubbermatch and Mora beats him again.

Agree here,Phillips is onto the other side and Mora-less's Speed/hustle (should he commit to it) could give Verno problems.Equally though,I'd like to see what happens when Verno bounce's one of those hard wide left hooks off his dome

Sergio won the title by fluke. The focused and determined Forrest showed the difference betweeen the two. Sergio may win another strap at 154 but ONLY because the division is so weak.

Sergio really is a bum though. A fluky one time world champ. Similar to Gavin Rees.

Totally agree i said before the fight a motivated Vernon Forrest would win the rematch, its obvious he took Sergio Mora lightly in the 1st fight. But props to Sergio Mora for winning but Vernon Forrest put it rightly he had his worst night and Sergio Mora had his best night, and his best is much better than Sergio Mora's best which is true............

Vernon Forrest was way above Sergio Mora's class in the rematch and whooped him from pillar to post. With nice snappy jabs and right hands over the top, i don't think Sergio Mora is that good personally he has some slickness some speed and an awkward style to deal with but he has no workrate and his offense isn't that good and he has no power and for the record i don't like Peter Manfredo or Sergio Mora but that has nothing to do with it i hate Mike Tyson but i admit he was great in his prime just like i would admit Sergio Mora was great if he was but he isn't he is slightly above average with an awkward style IMO.
