Haye would have beaten Peter and Vitali

Like others I'm left wondering if klitschko was that good or Peter was that bad.

Peter was dreadfully slow while Klitschko used his height effectively.

Peter hasn't looked good for a few fights now - he didn't impress against McCline or Toney. He looked like a fighter who just turned up without any real ambition or desire.

Klitschko looked good but his hands are awfully low and against a powerful, fast fighter he would have got caught.

The trouble is that there aren't that many powerful, fast Heavyweights apart from David Haye.

Haye would have ruined both of these guys. Klitschko looks like he can't fight at a fast pace and Haye would make him work and counter with quick accurate bombs.

Klitschko is not the man he once was but he did look good against Peter but then Peter was fighting in a trance.

Haye has all the skills, reflexes, power and movement to have beaten both last night.

In case you haven't heard David Haye is fighting the "dangerous" Monte Barrett......and he's ready for Vitali and Sam Peter

Wll in all truth, haye prob wouldnt of made it past the first round with vitali! Vitali has an iron jaw and iron hands. Do you think haye would be able to make it inside vitalis reach without taking a hardshot? No he wont and would not. Vitali would smash him all over the ring.

Pure comical to say the least. Vitali's jaw never got tested against Peter. Besides he is 37 now and who says it is iron ? If a Hayemaker lands from Haye he would be on his ass. Just like any other heavyweight.

IMO we need to wait and see what effect Haye's punches has on a bona fide heavy, he landed flush and often against the likes of Fragomenni, Mormeck and Thompson and it took a lot of blows to break down the first two and he couldn't take out the third where other cruisers had managed to do so.

IMO Haye has a lot going for him, but his fanatics are getting way ahead of themselves, do you guys really believe he'll land one solid right on Vitali and his legs'll buckle like Maccarinelli's then he'll go into his shell? that might happen with the vulnerable younger brother, but no chance it happens to Vitali who took Lennox's best without going down.

I think against peter his mobility would tell, as for Vitali, I'm not sure. He doesn't give to much time to recover and is hard to break down.

This ispurely hypothetical as judging by his recent pics, he has put on alot of muscle. How this will affect his stamina, i'm not sure.

I would pick Haye over Peter.

But not Vitali, sucks, I would love it if he beat him and got rid of Vitali for good but he probably wouldn't.

Think Haye would handle Peter without much difficulty but not so sure about - Vitali; probably too much size and punch resistance for David's liking. Vladmir is a much more appealing target.

David Haye is fighting MONTE BARRETT who at best lost decisions to Mesi and Whittaker and Wlad put him down 5 times but since those glory days he's been KO'd by Cliff Couser and Nicolay Valuev.

I enjoy you Haye fans you're hyping up a guy who has NEVER fought a top level heavyweight and after he fights Monte Barrett he STILL won't have fought a top rated heavyweight.

Vitali took Lennox Lewis' best shots I HIGHLY doubt Haye will bring anything more to the table. David Haye gets hit too much and if he has an Amir Kahn moment vs Monte Barrett then you guys had better hide for a couple years because I won't let you hear the end of it!

Haha, for once I kind of agree with Lyle. I'm a fan of Haye and cannot stand any other heavyweight (unless you consider Toney to still be active) but the hype is getting a little out of control considering he hasn't even fought any thing close to even a top twenty heavyweight.

He may end up coming well, I hope he does but for now he's an unknown.

Of course I did pick him to beat Peter so maybe I'm adding to the hype. Its more that I just think Peter sucks really.

Klitschko's timing was off a little at 1st but understandable due to the layoff but I think anyone would have been very accurate against Peter - he is not a fast moving target.

I'm not taking anything away from Vitali as he did very well and beat what was infront of him.

I liked the way Klitschko used movement to keep the distance against Peter - it was efective against a dreadfully slow opponent.

Peter when he did use head movement albeit rarely did make Klitschko miss but once the head movement stopped then Klitschko found the target. Peter looked like a fighter who hadn't trained solidly and didn't have the fitness or desire to make a fight of it.

I'm confident that Haye would prove alot more formidable an opponent than Peter proved to be.

Haye will give Klitschko problems with his head movement and footwork and have the handspeed to counter and catch the upright target of Vitali.
